  • I love sums and GOB

  • did cone play the whole show?

  • @NowImInOverMyHead Nope, he just came out and covered Soda with them at the end of the show.

  • tuned downed version fucking sucks. no emotion

  • @icemanmattglow What do you mean tuned down version? Or do you mean that its bad quality? Sadly I only had my phone with me at the time, it sounded great live :)

  • @veelovesnmc if you played guitar youd understand, if you dont ill explain. bands will often tune down their guitar half a step down to sing the song easier or a lot of their songs are already tuned down. soda is in regular tuning

  • @doantsgetcancer Yes, I think it's neat that they've recruited Tom to be working with them on their new album, and also that he tours with them is cool too. I'm also interested to hear what the new Gob album that he's been working on will be like as well!

  • gob IS punk no question they are the real deal, Sum 41 is all a marketing ploy

  • @beverlyskates I'm sorry but I have to kindly disagree, as Sum 41 is and has been my favourite band since I can remember... However I do agree that Gob is punk, and I absolutely love Gob don't get me wrong, I'm just against the 'marketing ploy' bit because if they were just a marketing ploy they wouldn't still be in studios writing material to this day. ;) Just my opinion and I feel I'm entitled to it.

  • @veelovesnmc its possible I may be wrong I always felt that Gob was less mainstream as sum 41 in the states, it may be diffrent in Cananda though

  • @beverlyskates That's true it does different between the states and Canada, as in Canada they were both pretty big at one time, and they're still writing music now, and they've always been similar with their sounds so in my opinion they're both great and mainstream at the same time. Recently not so much, but that will change I'm sure. :)

  • @veelovesnmc Gob had a better raw sound but thats just my opionion plus I fisrt saw them in 97 and I didn't get wind of Sum 41 til '01, If I had heard of sum 41 before they became big I I would have liked them more, Its all how you recieve it too i guess, cause I first heard of Gob when I saw them at a small show in BC Cananda and didn't hear of Sum 41 until i saw them on MTV when was living in the East Coast in the states

  • Gob and Sum-41 being anywhere near one another is almost as disgusting as the sexual practice known as docking. Gob is way better than Cum-41 could ever dream of being.

  • @tbirdpunk I kindly disagree with your statement however you are entitled to your opinion. :) I think it's funny that you think that, considering Tom Thacker and Cone McCaslin and Sum 41 are all very good friends. And they used to both make the same type of music and were listed under the same category.

  • Gob > Sum 41, sorry dudes.

  • @UTF To each their own. I love them both, though. :) Great guys, too.

  • yeah tom's voice had really matured, 10 years ago he used to have a punk rock voice!!!

    nice job cone for bassing

  • boring crowd eh

  • @refusedchad To be there you wouldn't think so.. The crowd was really really big and there was a LOT of pushing... I almost passed out and had to be rescued out of the crowd. Sucks being claustrophobic , hence why the video is taken from a bit of a distance. :P Great concert though!

  • great!!!

  • I love how they fixed up the song. Toms voice changed alot after there self-titled album and too late...no friends.

  • CONE is AWESOME
