I have to admit I HATE the English dub of this song they should of gotten Samatha Newark who did the opening and ending for wild arms 3 to do this song as well.I mean this dub in no way compares to Kaori Asō Amazing rendition of this song not by a long shot.

I like the battle systems, the music, the dialog, the characters, the sound effects, graphics, etc. And I don't see anyone with any reason or any right to criticize them at all! That is unless you are the maker of a better video game with more advanced characterization, battle simulations, music, and theme?

@Fayt13th Wild Arms 1 and 2 are excellent RPGs. WA3 is a mixed bag, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. WA4 is my 2nd favorite in the series. WA5 is a piece of fucking shit

Tthere's something that disturbed me from this game.

I am usually VERY against north-american produced dubs (because... 99% of them are craptacular), but Wild Arms 4's felt natural most of the time.

@Dorarnae666 They did do that quite a bit, although who wouldn't root for the underdog? The adults had all this technology at their disposal, as well as soldiers, generals, etc, and a group of kids had to overcome all of that. I think it's pretty inspiring. And the dialogue before and after major battles really added to the story IMO.

I would have liked #4 more if the game retained a bit more of the world-exploring and dungeon-crawling elements of #3. The Filgaia in #4 was a joke. On top of those shortcomings, the story in #4 needed some serious attention. All that endless bullshitting about children, etc... was making me fucking sick after a while. The penultimate villain's realization that he was blinded by his own tears.....WTFH!!!! Don't get me wrong, the game was fun, but it could have learned a thing or two more from #3

All Wild Arms games... and mainly Japenese games fail to have a story with a lot of common sense plugged into them. Wild Arms 5 seems to suffer from this the most though. Why would everyone go around talking about "breaking down the wall"? Who came up with this catch phrase? It wasn't Dean because the final boss is a bunch of spirits who tried to "break down the wall" for some unknown amount of time.

This is an excellent RPG. My only complaints are that it is far too easy and short, but that actually works in its favor if you are on the fence about picking it up. That, and its cheap and easy to find:)

@rpgprofessor "Cheap and easy to find" are never a mark of an "excellent" RPG,,,Compared to 1 and 2 this one is shit....yes..SHIT!...bad opening...bad singing...and the story omg...and even worse characters...this is coming from a guy who played all of the Wild Arms games.

The only good thing about this one is the graphics and battle system...sadly that's not what the Wild Arms series is known for...EVEN the freaking great puzzles are gone.

Just sad.

I did like this game a lot, though the difficult level increased TOO much in some parts. Still, enjoyable.

The skeletal plot is pretty good in WA4, but the writers should have taken a better approach fleshing it out. They dwell too much on the children-in-adult-world theme, which adds next to nothing to the story's excitement level and drags to the point of tedium. As well, nearly all of the encounters with Brionac's members were accompanied by extremely cheesy moralizing. The characters would yammer on about complete bullshit instead of discussing real world concerns. A lot of potential was wasted.

ahahaha just for the fun of it I used to voice over the other characters with my own story. It was all just random, the main plot was Jude and Yulie are together so is Arnaud and Raquel. However Jude cheats on Yulie with Raquel, Yulie gets upset and cheats on Jude with Arnuad. Then Jude gets upset that Yulie will cheat on him for cheating on her and cheats on both girls with Arnuad. Then the girls gets upset and cheat on them with each other.... hahaha^^;;;

I want really badly to like the characters and I certainly don't dislike them...however the characters feel generic...everything they say is just something anyone would say...they don't have a lot of personality...That's only what I think...also I'm not done with the game yet so maybe this randomly changes? I've gone far enough for it to bother me though

What about wilds arms 1. Sure its graphics werent the best but that was for its time and it had a dazzling and thrilling storyline. Its intro was so chilling and timed so well. It si like you could feel the night breeze in the background. That game begun dreams for rpg's and was released just before one of the heartstoppers of all rpg's "FINAL FANTASY VII".
