In athletics(if you do athletics) when you say running in the 42 it means at least 42.99,that is 19 hundreds from 43.18.The young Wariner could have beaten MJ World record with the perfect race...now he is no more the same,but still the best 400m runner after Michael Johnson & Butch Raynolds...

Ah,L.Merrit is like Dwain Chambers,a cheater(He was never happy in winning...now i know why...when you are dirty you are not very happy when you beat clean runners.

@Bajinjo Merritt didn't cheat.. they cleared him because it wasn't use to gain anything person in a race.. its was more so for something else..(sex) so they reinstated him..

@nykytne13 i wouldnt exactly call using dhea drugging it up he's not a cheater but he should have been more careful with what he was putting in his body..heck ive used dhea and im not a cheater i win or lose based on my training and my ability

i dont care if merrit won the 08 olympics; wariner just chocked a little bit, hes still the best. Besides, shorty after the olympics wariner beat merrit at a meet in germany. look for wariner in 2012. hes runnin a 42:00 at least

do you mean it's close to a 42.00? that's 1.2 seconds away. sprinting world records don't get broken like that. the 400 meter dash is rarely broken by more than 0.1 seconds. to say that wariner is going to break the world record at all is a high claim, especially considering his PR is only 43.45. To say that he's going to run a 42 is a joke. Don't tell me I don't know what I'm talking about when you are the one clearly out of line.

I know that i said 42.00 the first time but i didnt mean that he could run it in 42 flat (not saying he couldnt though). When i said 42, i meant that he could run something like a 42.92 or close to it at least. This is a misunderstanding. So now maybe u will agree with me that he can run in the 42's since its only .19 seconds away from the world record....not 1.2
