  • i think the inside of the watch is copying a vintage swiss Landeron movement

  • hah Russinas copying swiss watches ?! NO WAY !! :-D Swiss watchmakers are copying :-D

  • THat is one of the ugliest watches I've ever seen

  • all you do in your videos is bitch and complain.

  • Cool Video! Thanks for sharing.

  • Thanks very much for the instruction. I was looking for how to remove the stem of my IK colouring watch and because of this video I found out that it is spring loaded and how to remove the stem on that. Thanks.

  • Wouldn't you be better off doing this on a piece of soft fabric? I winced every time I heard the watch glass scrape on the hard surface you're working on.

  • @whitbyjet65 My working surface is an upside down corrugated shipping box with a layer of tape on it to keep it free of dirt and oil. While I could put a towel over it I feel that this surface is softer than any watch part that I may place on it. The sound you heard was either the spring button in the watch when I pressed it or the box moving moving about. I use a box to elevate the watch so I don't have to hunch over while working on a watch. Don't want to ruin my back.

  • @bunnspecial Ok. Thanks.

  • translate.google.com/#en|ru|poljot

check this out for pronunciation :)

  • Pronounced "poll yacht"

  • Thanks for your videos. Very useful. I just removed the stem from a watch I wanted to lubricate thanks to your tip about pressing the tiny button. All done now and all back together working. Cheers.

  • bunn , thanks for this ... can you do one with the RELIC /Fossil type watches ??

i fractured my cyrstal and i would like to swap it out for anther watch.. the original case is discolored and i have zero idea how to replace it .. ur vid set are the closest i came to any sort of help with images.

    Jagz

  • @jaganar1 The problem with swapping cases or movements is will they fit. Movements are different diameters and thicknesses. Dials are different diameters. Stems are different lengths. To many variables.

I don't know if I have any RELIC/Fossil type watches. I will have to look into it

  • Thanks for both videos dude. I keep paying 'silly money' to local watch repairers for small repair/replace jobs like stem and crown replacement on my Omegas. I will buy a cheap winding watch to practice on first, then try it next time i drop my watch on its side! Cheers, from England!

  • Thanks for the video. Very easy to follow.

  • wtf it's not a copy this is a russian watch

  • @loading808 Do a search on the internet for "valjoux 7734 poljot 3133" and you will see many pages saying that the Russians based the Poljot 3133 on the Valjoux 7734. I am not making this up. I don't trust everything I read on the internet but I tend to believe this. Everybody copies with improvements. The Hamilton Model 21 Marine Chronometer is based on the Ulysse Nardin Marine Chronometer.

  • @bunnspecial Thanks! I really enjoyed the video. You were very informative and very humorous at the same time. Keep up the great work. I'll look for more videos of you.

    Dave

  • hi dude. i believe the movement here is based on the valjoux 7734 but has more jewels and has a higher beat train (i think).

  • @londonoverground You are correct. I looked it up on the internet. 17 jewels vs 23, 18000 A/h vs 21600 and the size is a little different. Thanks.

  • Thanks very much for that. That would be me that had (still have) the problem with the spring loaded winding stem release button but this is a good video for others with a similar movement set up. The spring on my watch must be knackered. The button was deeply depressed upon first examining the movement and it remains so. Push down nothing happens. The winding stem can be inserted and removed. It winds the watch but unable to set the hands. Never mind. Get it repaired one day.

  • @hildibildibaldi I didn't forget you (same language, different slang) I just don't like to mention anybody without their permission. When you mentioned that the button was already down I had a feeling that the spring was knackered. Since I never took one of these apart I can't recommend a cheap fix.

  • @bunnspecial As you say - same language, different slang. I'd call this watch a "Pol-Yot" but as I'm not Russian that's probably wrong as well. The cheapest fix I can think of would be to launch my watch over the hedge ...............!

  • great video, very useful as always. that is a very nice Russian, beautiful movement... I have a Russian also, with Molnija 3602 movement, really good watches!!

    thanks for this new video!!!
