  • gave me chills!

  • you are so good to be 16..so good :-)

  • yay!!!! the first home video of this I've heard so far that actually got this peice right!!!! you deserve a better piano to play on. I just played this for a state competition, and trust me, it is a judge pleaser! :p

    don't ever stop playing!

  • I loved some of the sections where there was a beautiful crescendo from very, very soft.

I'm learning this song right now and it's so great to see the different interpretations!

  • I am a piano teacher and I think you did a beautiful job. You really felt the piece with your soul. Thank you for letting me listen to you. Well done. Bravo. I hope you continue playing.

  • Thank you!

Your comment really thrilled me =]

Soon i'll upload a video of Claire De Lune :)

  • High five. I have the same piano with you :P

  • i learned this in seventh grade.....common try to impress me.

  • You Come on!!

It's a beautiful piece. That alone should be reason enough to play this.

  • Good. I played this recently myself. Acouple of things I have to point out. First, very good articulation, nice trills, good tempo, nice color change. But, not so loud, remember this is a nocturne (not Rachmaninoff). I know its easy to get too loud, but volume is not the only way to express -- deep tone. Make the 3rd section more like a dream sort of sound, with the part before the recapitulation like the foreshadowing of drama.

  • Thank you for your comments =]

You are right as far as it comes to the dynamics.. Sometimes i tend to play a bit too loud.

  • who doesn't?

  • i'm learning this piece as well... can't get past the first minute!! i'm so jealous

  • im playing this piece too, and i really think you should have been a bit more softer in parts, and a bit more gentler...this is a Romantic piece...

  • you're awesome. I can't even play that well...and I use to play a lot when I was younger

  • Good, but try to play the right-hand fingers more parallel, when you manage that , it so much more fun to play =)

  • i like ur hair, very suave, also, i the peice is gd too, i also recommend placing recording equipment further away, also dont you just hate having to pause for turning the pages, i do...good playing

  • hehe thx but thx.

though in a few days i'm gonna get a haircut :)

From now on i'm going to put the recording equpiment not so close to the piano.

And the thing with the pages... i wish someone would invent this automatic page replacer thingy.

  • really good. Maybe too much rubato

  • It's Chopin - hard to do too much rubato.

  • haha. true, true...

  • Great!! Keep going on!!

  • good job.:P

a bit 2 loud in my opinion

  • Particularly, I like the tempo that you've chosen.

Overall, you have the interpretative talent.

I am planning to recite this and upload it myself, pretty soon.

The trills, I thought were poorly done though.

A tip on the recording quality; try to put the camera farther away. This should eliminate the static sort of effect when playing loudly

  • Thank you.

I'll work on those trills :)

  • Nice going, biatch, u got some skill on yous.

    Fog you!
