I just got a cherry 2x this afternoon from microcenter in Cleveland. Open box unit for (drumroll) $55. Score. This thing Is great.
I love the fact that he mentions (without being too harsh) that Bose cheats and completely distorts the frequency response to fake your ears out.
What I don't like is that there's not an iPhone 3G dock. Current versions should hopefully have one.

The unit itself says it is handcrafted in china. I would assume they ship the supplies to them as everyone else does.
