  • I loved this show as a kid.

  • Great theme.

  • In your satin tights

    Fighting for your rights

    LOL

  • LOL, I just caught that, too! AHAHAHA

  • That Wonder Woman theme song was so funky from that first season! Especially the piano and low bottom notes of the horns and the ladies singing. I listened to it in Maryland last summer on a road trip from a mix CD of TV theme songs. The later seasons' themes failed to match this funky version!

  • i just saw the pilot and it made me laugh so much. lynda carter is a babe! i'm gonna be watching more of this.

  • wow, Lynda Carter looks hot in those days. I can't wait to see Megan gale wear that costume in Justice League of America

  • GETS BETTER WITH AGE!

  • Comment removed

  • Lynda Carter still to this day is a knockout. She looked awesome back when women wore costumes way less revealing than today. I like the disco graphics on the season 1 intro, but I can see why the lyrics to the song got shit-canned later

  • Wonderful! Thanks for sharing...

  • Linda Carter es era y sigue siendo hermosa.

  • great! At least fot "old" people like me.. (34). kids must not understand this old fashioned presentation. how many memories! Wonder woman excited me when I was only 9 years old...

  • lindas tetas, la pendeja

  • this sucks

  • Wonder Woman derserves her own animated TV series, I would definitley watch it! Wonder Woman! "" All the world is waiting for you and the power you possess In your Satin tights fighting for yoir rights And the old red white and blue! Wonder Woman! "" Now the world is ready for you And the wonders you can do
  • Most definitely.

  • can anyone honestly look back at this and see any redeeming qualities besides sentimental value? ....the crap we used to eat in the days of (3) network TV...

  • yes and all of the stuff on TV (esp. reality TV and most definitely "American Idiot") is so much better ...

  • Como se llama el que canta esta cancion quiero buscarla y descargarla pero no se como alguien que me ayude!

  • tell me this theme song doenst jsut stick in your head! in your satin tights fighting for our right! come on its too cool!

  • Lynda Carter was my first crush!! She still looks great today!!..I need to go and take a cold shower

  • this show was b4 my time but the theme music was hott. i used to watch madd reruns

  • Somebody should remix this with the Spider-Man Tv intro.

  • Why?

  • I honestly don't get how WONDER WOMAN can be part of the *trinity* that includes BATMAN and SUPERMAN, in the JUSTICE LEAGUE and yet...Batman and Superman get major films and she doesn't. She kicked both of their asses various times. Her comicbook is the most controversial and prolific of the three...and yet, she gets reduced to an idea for a movie, thrown around by BRIAN SINGER, who doesnt even know which way is up. So ridiculous.

  • Good point. I'd love to see Wonder Woman in her own movie or cartoon show. Regardless if she's on the Superfriends or Justice League Unlimited, I always wanted her to stand out from the rest, even Aquaman....yes AQUAMAN had his own cartoon AND movie. If Catwoman :P had her own movie, why not Wonder Woman?

  • Good point. If Superman and Batman had their own cartoons and movies, why not Wonder Woman? She's been featured on the Superfriends and Justice League, but not her own show or movie. If Aquaman had his own cartoon AND movie, why not give Wonder Woman her time to shine?!

  • Good point, they SHOULD give Wonder Woman her own movie and cartoon show as they did Superman and Batman, I'd love to see it.

  • Wonder Woman is the most famous of all female superheroes. But casting her (with someone as beautiful as Lynda Carter) as well as writing a credible script is difficult. Her comics origin, the reasons for leaving Paradise island in particular, has been quite vague and rebooted several times. She's proven to be more iconic than Superman or Batman in terms of translating from comics to TV to movies.

  • you seem like you'd be happy to hear that based on how well the justice league movie turns out Hollywood producers are expecting a wonder woman.

By the way, factualy speaking, Superman and Batman came first and have sold more than wonder woman.

But you're right though, she deserves more than a chance.

  • uhu!! and the design of her outfit; it's almost an exact copy of the fla... No! that would be too cheap for a creative american mastermind!..

  • Its really good isn't it?? I never realised 25 years ago!! I really wanted to be WonderWoman and spent a lot of time spinning round in the hope I would turn into her!

  • ROFL! I thought I was the only one who did that! And I really wish I had had that damn magic lasso when I was married hehe

  • lol

  • What yall know bout Lynda Carter? She is still beautiful

  • Wow... she is the perfect actress for the role of Wonderwoman. Her face, body and voice even.

I need to find these shows on dvd. Love the music.

  • hell Yeah.......Biiiyaaaaah

  • ok ya bassssssssssssssssss

  • For the movie version. My pick would be "Charlize Theron" as Wonder Woman. (Remember: Aeon Flux) And if; they did decide to bring back Wonder Girl, (Remember - Debra Winger) my pick would be a young "Megan Fox".

  • It was really catchy, wasn't it?

    Very "Patriotic"!

  • Hmmm...isn't Lyle Waggoner handsome in that uniform!

  • wow i used to love this show as a kid!! good ole 70's

  • extremely memorable song and such an anthem!!! I am glad this show was a part of my childhood. I feel sorry for the kids today; they have nothing truly iconic like this

  • How will we ever replace her?

Lynda Carter for Queen Hyppolyta of Themyscira!

  • I totally agree!

  • YESSSS what a great idea. Let's all write letters to Warner Bros or whatever studio who takes on this huge feat.

  • She's still alive and looks as good as ever, who needs a replacement?

  • Out of the major 3 (Superman, Batman..) her theme was the most liveliest and anthem worthy! Change The World, Wonder Woman!!

  • I still try to date a lot of women that remind me of linda carter. My god she was beautiful. Set the standards high for a boy growing up thinking about what a woman should look like...

  • still try to date a lot of women that remind me of linda carter. My god she was beautiful. Set the standards high for a boy growing up thinking about what a woman should look like...

Couldn't agree more between her and Daisy Duke set the tone for what i want a woman to look like. Anyone who doesn't think Linda Carter is georgous doesn't know what a real woman looks like

  • groovy

  • Here it is..."in your satin tights...fighting for your rights..." love that.

  • I guess "stop a war with love" didn't work during WWII. We had to resort to two atomic bombs.

  • im still kind of young but since i was a kid i have love this song. i know it by heart lol

  • Wonder what we'll have to resort to this time.

  • I love wonder woman, ultime favorite woman superhero, wish more powerful female characters were on tv.

  • i agree

  • Lynda Carter is the original BOMB!

  • Great theme song!

Get us out from under, Wonder Woman (*_~)

  • I'm gonna be honest about this.. I think Wonder women and Linda Carter had such a influence in many young gay boys.. I'm including myself I remember when I was 6 years old, I wanted to be wonder women.. I knew I was gay and I was proud even at such small age. Love Wonder women.

  • Yes you know you so right. The same thing happened to me.

  • I loved this show. Lynda Carter made a perfect Wonder Woman.

  • linda carter!

  • I think all the girls who grew up in the 70's wanted to be Wonder Woman! She's really cool!

  • God I rember how sexy she was! Such a crush on her.

  • in my opinion, She's still sexy

  • This is one of the greatest theme songs ever!!

  • i thought i was going be the first black wonder woman when i was a kid!

  • that's cute

  • I used to watch this show all the time. XD thanks for posting.

  • lynda carter is a fox

  • i love the theme song. well crafted...

  • i' d like that in the next movie , there was Tiffany Amber Thiesen or Charisma Carpenter.

  • I Choose Charisma, She's a Hotty! Or Krista Allen.

  • I'm sorry, gang, but there's seriously something I've always loved about this song. Yeah, I sure agree the guy singing sounds some kinda flakey, but that's what's cool about it -- he makes it work for the time period. And it just seems crappy cool to me, especially with all the background lasso swinging and jumping sounds that go on. They add to let you know you cannot take the show too seriously. Of course, Lynda Carter's looks always helped the song sound better too.

  • I think you're remembering a theme from a later season. There's no lasso or jump sound effect in this version.

  • Yes it is!

  • It's very kich but very friendly. ;-)

  • "In your satin tights, fighting for your rights" is most stupid line I've ever heard!

But it could have also been the title song of "Batman"... =D

  • Actually, that could also have been as goofy as the the title song of the original Batman TV show...

You know, the one with Adam West...

The One we true Dark Knight Fans have been trying to live with...

  • lol

  • old

  • Ancupola where are you from this still comes on?

  • This was my favorite show as a little girl, I even had some little panties and tank top that looked just like wonder womans outfit.

  • this show is still alive in our country

  • Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman was my first crush--probably around age 5!

  • Mine too,,,,,,,,,,,,,,she is cute.

  • She's got an incredible body. I mean REALLY well toned. But she was a model I think so....

  • Remember when shows had long theme songs, and they were never edited down? I do.

  • Yep. That's when they didn't have to compete too much for time with comercials. Back then there were less than ten minutes worth of commericals for hour dramas.

  • Lynda Carter IS Wonder Woman. she can't be replaced!!!!

  • Lynda Carter is my dream woman!

  • i may sound like a freak, whatever, my name's ratedtriplex, but lynda carter is officially the 1st GILF. i rented some lame vampire movie with her and casper van diem in it and she still looked good

  • my new theme song, lol

  • There was only one reason for I watched this...Lynda Carter. She was definately one of the hottest women on TV in the late '70s. I think she made a man out of me, indirectly of course. Oh, and the theme song was pretty cool too!

  • she is the most gorgeous woman i've ever laid my eyes upon...and the show and the theme are all so cool!!!

    de-33 thanx for the memories.

  • is there really gonna be a wonder woman movie soon?

  • There was, but it was scrapped.

  • question: Lynda Carter, hottest wonder woman EVER! True or false? answers to both sexes

  • So very, very true!

  • omg i remember this its generic now hahaha plus i had the wonder woman barbie doll

  • All I remember about this show was how HOT Lynda Carter was/is. As a comic fan, WW never really did anything for me, but you have to admit, of all the superheros, she had the absolute WORST theme song! ;)

  • "In her satin tights, fighting for your rights!"

No wonder this song gave me a chill growing up..

  • Wonder woman is weak

  • STFU, You're fucking weak!

  • Great thanks

  • Season 1 was great once we left the Nazi's and WW2 behind the show just became 70's Hippy CRAP! >_<

  • Tie me up and make me tell the truth!!

  • Turn a Hawk into a Dove with love........we need wonder woman!

  • Stop a war with love! :D

  • Wonder woman! Yeah! I love this! I think Oprah would make a good super hero.

  • "In your satin tights, fighting for your rights"?? Oh my God!

  • love the ghetto bitches singin back up.Linda Carter was an incredible hotty, and perfect choice to resemble WW.but c'mon she has gotta be the worst/lamest comic book character ever.why did they try to make her like a female capt. America??

  • Comic fan here. Wonder Woman was created by a psychiatrist, who felt a strong woman character would best represent americas women in battle, but the twist is her origins are from amazon island, from greek mythology. Wonader Woman and Superman can go head to toe. Cap is no coparison, only in color scheme.

  • Another comic fan, Wonder Womans creator also was the creator of the Lie Detector Machine....TRUTH!

  • leave ma alone!!!!

    who the fuck are you?

  • "Get us out from under...wonder woooooomaaaaaaaan!" - what rhymes with wonder i wonder...? Hey big Spunder...wonder wooooomaaaaaaaaan!

  • Stop a war with love!!

  • Thxs for postingxxx!

  • Wonder woman - the story says she is amazonian. Linda Carter and a previous American acctress who played the role were Irish Americans. Linda has an Irish father and a Mexican mother.

  • Dosen't a invisible plane and WW not invisible herself kind of defeat the purpose?

  • Ah, logic.

Just ignore that like everyone else.

  • This is the ultimate theme forever!!!!!!!

  • Linda Carter are american-venezuelan star, she was beauty

  • hmm i thought she was part- mexican from arizona...

  • ww was irish-american?? where the fuck did u get that from lol

  • Bring back the 70s!

  • GET US OUT FROM UNDER WONDER WOMAN

Uh...not me. I'd stay right there.

  • co-sign that staement.

  • Umm,,,,,,,,,wonder woman is an Irish-American woman so any new wonder woman needs to be an Irish-American. Why not have a wonder granny and bring Linda out of retirement?! Equal opportunities and all that.

  • thats cute but i think they are going for a 20-30 year old

  • Uhhm? Wonder Woman is Greek.

  • And technically, she's not American, either.

  • WOW... 70's television..... I remember it well. Linda Carter was hot.

  • We need a new Linda Carter!

  • Reiko Aylesworth of "24" would be a perfect Wonder Woman. Her character Michelle Dessler was killed off at the start of day 5. So come on producers, she's the next WW!

  • "in your satin tights, fighting for your rights"

very seventies, independent women can do it all by themselves, etc etc

  • had such a boner for her

  • Me too, and I was only 9 or 10 years old back then.:)

  • oh my god, i was in love with linda carter, i just was ten years old.

  • lindaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa es preciosa!!

  • Linda Carter, Marie Osmond and Cheryl Ladd. My first crushes. But Linda Carter's my #1. She's so beautiful.

  • If Wonder Woman's jet is invisible, How can she find it?

  • yeah, and why doesn't she always crash in to it looking for it?

  • Wonder Woman and her lasso of truth! /invisible jet! my friend was a big fan of Wonder Woman even dressed like her. I remember the comic illustration where her mother told her that she had to leave her home and never return again the most.

  • I saw her in 2006 in Downtown LA at a concert at the Taper. Still VERY, VERY PRETTY. Lovely to look at.

  • Lynda Carter was gorgeous...

  • If Lynda Carter makes a fine Wonder Woman, then I think Angelina Jolie; Jennifer Gardner or Mischa Barton should be excellent Wonder Women. By the way, Lynda Carter has nice sexy legs.

  • This is so damn funny because, thematically speaking, the producers didn't know where to go with this show in its first season. Because the original Wonder Woman was based on a World War II era comic strip, the producers were caught between trying to honor her 1940's heritage and trying to re-make her into a modern-day super hero. By Season Two, they had it all figured out and promptly "did away with" the "hokey" military uniforms and other World War II devices.

  • If Wonder Woman was real, I'd SO be living a life of crime right now! "Hey Wonder Woman--I just robbed a bank! Better get me in a scissors-lock before I escape! PLEASE!?!"

  • Linda carter is hispanic.

  • GET US OUT FROM UNDER !

  • wow que nena, tan atletica!!!!

  • en mexico es la mujer maravilla, linda carter es bellisima mi primera novia jejeje cuando tenia 6 anos

  • nandotravieso: Why aren't there female super heroes anymore? It's politically incorrect for women to be running around like this now (sex-object, yadda, yadda), however for Superman, Spiderman and the rest, skin-tight spandex is just fine.

  • Brilliant show!

It's being shown on Livingtv in the UK so can watch it all over again. Fantastic!

  • Agreed, I was born in 93 but I love this series!

  • Thanks, "NevermoreQuoth", for making me feel really, really old. Peace.

  • Is it? Really? When? What channel?

  • Why aren't there female super heroes anymore?

  • LIKE FOR REAL ? THEIRS' OPERA ...?

  • Well, there was Charmed (I'm particularly partial to the early seasons when they were really fighting crimes as opposed to flirting around and playing with fairies) and Buffy: The Vampire Slayer on the WB when the WB was on but considering the WB is now a distant memory, I see your point about really reccent as in current.

  • But nobody is wearing funny costumes anymore! Not even in current "Heroes". Pity :-(

I need a new costume for Halloween!

  • Those series seem weak compared to The BBCs Hex.

  • wonder woman was hot!

  • Man do I miss the 70's!

  • arrhhhh!!!! brings back my childhood memories....

  • Linda Carter's Mom was Mexican...why mexican girls are not like her?

  • cameron diaz's father is mexican. she's beautiful too, but no linda carter.

  • cameron diaz's dad is cuban, not mexican but lynda carter is also mexican, native american, english, irish and spanish.

  • "... in your satin tights, fighting for your rights ..."

  • LOL, we must have been such tv addicts back in the 70's! Thankyou for posting the theme to Wonder Woman, it bought back memories for me to!

  • Thanks for the great video! 80's Rock!

  • thanks for posting this, wonder woman was my hero when i was 4. linda carter is an amazonian princess!!!

    this was the 70's Jdean : )

  • WOw, that woman is gorgeous. And nice thing, Linda Carter has aged very well.

  • Ohhhhhhh Yeaaaaahhhhhhhh!!! She can tie ME up with that lasso of truth ANYTIME!!! And the truth is I'd do ANYTHING for her!!!

  • Aged well? Yer joking.. She IS an amazon princess.. the woman does not age! (mind you, getting out of hollywood probably had a lot to do with it.. what was it? banking?)

  • LOL that gave me a very well needed laugh Loopy. Wonder Woman in the comics was made from clay and thus does not age. So thank you again for a laugh.

  • I meant Lynda Carter, dude ;)

  • Actually, a pretty decent transition from animation to actual people.
