This is cool because apples microsoft sony and so on have all tried to suppress SD cards and just about any industry standard, I mean how easy would it have been for apple to put SD card slot on the Ipad for your extra 64gb which would cost literally nothing... but oh no they didnt want to do somthing so simple and effective

But with this 2 tb new devices that utilises it will ultimate completely overshadow any attempt by large corporations to tie people into their expensive propitiatory garbage

All in all they´re all SD cards. HC means nothing else than high capacity. It is not necssary to give them names for higher capacities. There should rather be different names for different read and write speeds.
