Games like Mass Effect, Call of Duty, Assasin's Creed, Tenchu, Dragon Age, Skyrim and many others owe alot to MGS for finally introducing a cinematic style of gameplay. It was the first time you played as a character in a movie instead of just a video game graphic. Sure final fantasy and other's started the storyline concept much earlier but it was MGS to brought it forward and made it mainstream to include plot. God bless Hideo, Konami and David Hayter for making games what they are today.

The decision to kill grey fox was a make or break situation -- his death made a good twist in the storyline; however, after playing the rest of the MGS's Games, I can see Kojima regrets making that decision seeing how many times they've tried introducing "another" slightly different grey fox. It's come to the point where MGS Rising could have been the potential background story to the original Grey Fox & not the cheese Raiden Character.

@Prophecy86x they could have cloned grey fox like the did with snake :O appear in mgs2 as a grey fox again and then through snake get his memories from his original body back and then disappeas. and then in mgs 4 he could have appeared again and saved snake again but this time from metal gear ray ^-^ and THEN finally dies :O

@DoctorCapitalist Agreed, it was an awesome decision; however, he should have remained dead. In my opinion, Grey Fox was original and the rest are just copies that should have never made an appearance.

Liquid is another good example; bringing him back as just an arm controlling a body? really? lol, they should have just brought him completely back; after all he is the master of faking deaths lol. His death was also epic though, "F-O-XXX D-I-E!".

One of the best things about Twin Snakes was that they finally gave Gray Fox a cool voice. He finally sounded like a stone-cold badass, instead of Wheezy Jefferson.

They really didn't understand translations when they gave him the name Deepthroat the the majority of the game. You either couldn't help laughing everytime he said it or you were too young to know.

@Zipito06 I assumed they gave him the codename 'Deepthroat' because of the informant in the watergate scandal (I also think this might have even been explained in the game itself too), rather than it being anything that needed to be translated.

Let me level with anyone interested in the video, it is impossible to get a High Def version of these video's, simply because the game isn't and will never be in HD, this is the best quality or near enough the best you will find, video wise of course, audio is spot on.
