I'm sorry, but a guy who averaged 12, 10, and 3 as an Indiana high school senior shouldn't be named to the McDonalds team, period. In fact, both Plumlee and Rakeem Christmas had no business playing in the McDonalds game (Christmas couldn't even manage 10 points in the 3 games I've seen him play).

@camthekilla252 In case you didn't know, politics plays a MAJOR role in rankings, state player of the year honors, and the McDonalds game selection. Having said that, I've seen Christmas play 3 times for ANC and he was pretty bad each time. While he's very athletic, the guy has ZERO offensive game and isn't even a good rebounder despite being the tallest guy on the floor most of the time.

I'm sorry, but those are terrible numbers for a 7 footer who's supposed to be playing for Duke next season and was given state player of the year honors in NC. My goodness, I know of 6'4 guys who grab more boards than him.

So with all that said, both of their selections are the result of politics and potential, not actually performance. Watch a few games and you'll see.
