But, did you crop his tail for any particular reason? The only reason they used to crop the tail of dogs was because the dog had a job in wich it would get in the way, but considering that isn't the case any more... I just don't see any reason for it besides human vanity or medical reasons..

@Emeloo2 actually some vets say that it is wise to crop the tail because this dogs do hurt themselves in the tail often, i live with someone with a weimaraner and he did hurt himself and the tail is always beating on stuff so i really don´t know if it is that bad...
