Not at all. It's all a personal preference. I like my nails long cause I don't use picks. Plus it gives me more control on the exact sound of the strings. But there are those who have very short nails and still do a good job. Hope this helps. =)

Sure. It's standard GCEA tuning. The G string is an octave lower than the standard G. It's actually an Baritone style string setup but on a tenor scale. =)

Yes and yes. It's a low G concert ukelele. And It is safe to put nickel strings on it so long as it's like a baritone set for the ukelele and you're not going to tune it above the standard 440 tuning.

My top teo strings are nickel wound. The bottom two are nylon. I dont have tabs. I tried making tabs but I dont know how. I actually learned this from watching Keonepax's version. =)
