  • The part from 10:03 isn't a part of a real game, is it?

  • @TomasCimma I don't see anything out of the ordinary at 10:03. It's bill shooting a zombie in the hallway. This whole video (minus the credits) was rendered in game. I'm also not actively working on this mod anymore.

  • @0utatime I would really appreciate, if it would be hard to pass the levels with many puzzles so keep up the great work and do as much puzzles as you can think up. It would be great.

  • @TomasCimma Wait... when the 'Nemesis' was attacking, if I'd close the door before I kill the tank, I think the level will be completed, no? If so, could you make it somehow, that there really isn't any escape, just fighting the Nemesis before you get farther?

  • hey can i make a finale suggestion? There should be a finale at the clock tower and when you get picked up, Barry is flying and Leon is in the helicopter shooting at the zombies while you get on board. :D Idk how but if you can do that Valve will most likely notice it and put it out as DLC

  • Dude, this is amazing! Awesome cameo by Nemesis there (and I think I saw Brad Vickers on the ground..?) Keep up the good work, man.. Are you going to be following the re3 story and going to the clock tower eventually? or will you go off elsewhere with the characters? I'm curious.

  • @LosTimeProductions Thanks. We'll see how far I get. We're two years in the making and I still haven't done more than one release. I'll release these two hopefully in April if I can work the bugs out. If people want more we'll go from there. Really time consuming though :/

    I commend you for being able to pull this off in Source engine. Source is a pain in the ass.

  • @josh07698 I slated six but even two is proving to be a challenge. I'll get the two out and we'll go from there.

  • @0utatime How long are they both? (I don't really care, I think they will be awesome no matter what, just wondering)

  • @josh07698 3-5 minutes to get through map 1 (maybe up to 10 depending on difficulty) which I think is good enough for an opener. I think RPD should keep you there for about 15-20 minutes once I have every puzzle in place.

    I see they (bots) still don't pick up those kits... gone over your nav markings?

    Especially if you're intending to add puzzles (I'd prefer you didn't, but it's your campaign, do whatever) might be a good idea the bots can do all they can.

  • @GogiettoTrunten The nav mesh is ok and marked just fine for that room. The bots just have to be a certain distance away from you to catch up I guess and it's a really short distance. I'll check it one more time. It's kind of a bad situation because the map isn't build on 90 degree angles and the grid nav mesh doesn't play well with it :(

  • Hm, so going into the basement area gives you nothing? It could've been cool if there were two routes to the safehouse - through the underground parking and through the roof. But than, going to your current safehouse would've been slightly strange, if you went through the parking lot, since you would need to go out the same way in the next map.

    And maybe no specials until after the shotgun area, and no infected spawn areas in few rooms, as in the original? Like the RPD hall 1st floor, STARS room

  • @TyakaB I have yet to install all the keys/puzzles but rest assured, you won't just be able to walk through the place without doing some work first.

  • @0utatime Hm, so there will be something in the basement part? intriguing. But a second path instead of backtracking could've been more interesting. Just saying -_-

  • @TyakaB I toyed with the second path idea but I don't have the time to build a whole alternate set of maps. Also I'm not sure that's supported. I know I can't please everyone. Just know that I'm doing the best I can with what I have.

  • @0utatime By second path i meant, that they would end in the same saferoom. Which is problematic right now, since if you go through the parking you'll be on the other side of the current saferoom. That's what i meant:)

  • this is the best player made map I've seen for L4D, really can't wait to play it :), one question though what happened to the Carlos recording at 9:00 ? If I recall correctly in one of your previous videos it was there.
