There is nothing wrong or hypocritical about saying God loves all sinners, including homosexuals and prostitutes. I never said "he doesn't want them to be straight anyway", those are your words. He wants people to be free from the enslavement of drugs, sexual deviancy, alcoholism, etc. I am not forcing anyone to do anything. You know that for many years the American Psychological Association officially considered homosexuality a deviant thing, until it was changed to be PC. in fact it does deviate from the norm. And AIDS was first called GRIDS -- Gay Related Immune Deficiency Syndrome -- until they had to change it when it spread to bis and then to heteros. "Make someone straight?" Don't force anyone. Some people are also born with a tendency toward alcoholism, but just because they are born that way, doesn't mean they have to go that route and it doesn't mean we want them to do that. In the end we are responsible for our actions, it is our choice to follow our tendencies, or not. I am attracted to women, but I don't have to let that control me. When someone chooses to leave the homosexual lifestyle, they don't have to get married, but some have. The word "gay" = happy, but it was hijacked.
