remember that vienna writes from the POINT of view (see her performance live in sunnydale public library for an explanation of the background of My Medea). i take it to believe something along the lines of an abusive relationship (or stretching it further, love that truly knows no bounds) that one becomes obsessed within and loses all sight everything else, losing touch of happiness.
