I am an Indian Guyanese, and in reality, I think events from the past have caused many Indian guyanese to be more racist toward the black guyanese population currently. This is to whoever I'm an African American female from NC. Throughout my life their was racism but only from the whites. I live in toronto where alot of indo guyanese live so people of other races here think guyana is a pure indian country whiles in places where afro guyanese live the locals may think guyana is a black country. This is to whoever I'm an African American female from NC. Throughout my life their was racism but only from the whites. I never disliked someone because of the race if they were Mexican, Chinese, White, Native American Indian, or East Indian. I currently live in NY and I have friends from all nationalities and I embrace them and their cultures. I hang out with alot of Guyanese people; Indo-Guyanese making up over half and I treat them like family who I would do anything for. It really sad.
