  • 大好きだ!!!

  • Thanks for uploading this :)! Our band will be playing at our annual concert next year, and this helps me study the music :)! I'm the only horn, so I have to do it right :)!

    Sounds really awesome :)!

  • my old memories with my band has came back...

  • Good song and good orchestra. I'm from Barcelona and we play the same song. Look at my profile : ) Kisses.

  • I wish our band would play this....all we play is crappy folk and classical music it sucks :(

You guys sounded great!!! I love this arrangement too :D

  • its better with string instruments

  • A decent arrangement, although the one we played last year (total hell, by the way) was the full score.

It went: First Half of Phantom, then Think of Me, Angel of Music, Second Half of Phantom, Music of the Night, All I Ask of You (with reprise), Prima Donna, Masquerade, Why So Silent, No One Would Listen, Point of No Return, Down Once More, and finally Phantom of the Opera again, with a dramatic cut short ending, with the chromatic scale going up and then stopping on the 4th note up.

  • Nice arrangement :)

    We're playing it too.

  • hm-mm!! ^^ hard to find this song. i mean to download. Our band was practising this song for the concert next year. my coach said there are many type of this song. but this type is the best! ^^ i like the feel that tokyo kosei had. thanks for uploading. ^^

  • that is amazing!!!!!!! i think if i heard it without seeing it, it would be just like the movie!!!!

  • Its sooo cute!!! Everyone is bobbing their heads on the accents!!! lol Nice job!!! :)

  • Nice Performance!

  • Go Clarinets Sax's and Flutes!!! :) YOu guys rock!!!!

  • I think this isn't "Selections from Phantom of the Opera", but actually the "Entr'acte" of it. Get the CD, listen to it. I may be wrong though.

  • Did you even listen to all 14 minutes of this? I don't think the Entr'acte alone is that long.

  • I only did AFTER I commented. After that, I was too lazy to comment again, and thought it didn't matter anyway. My bad.

  • @deathstix he may be reffering to the Calvin Custer arrangement version, that I myself was expecting to hear here.

  • Amazingg! We played this in 7th grade, nowhere near as good as this! [GO CLARINETS!]

  • We are playing this arrangement. :)

    Very nice.:) 5*

  • Very nice

My band is playing this along with king kong and Wicked I am a trumpet player.

  • were playing this in our spring concert which is in 3 days cuz today is sunday and we do it on wednesday and we start off with phantom of the opera then all i ask for u then think of me and music of the night

  • We are playing this in our spring concert!

    Go BASTROP!

  • WE GET TO PLAY THIS IN OUR SPRING CONCERTT!!! WOOOT!

    Thats right! Be Jelious! Lol

  • love it!!!

we're playing this arrangement at CTWO at the moment and i absolutely love it!!!

the flute part's really hard when you get to the actual phantom theme tune - SO MUCH DOUBLE TONGUING!

  • the best band arrangement as I reckon. My band played at the concert this year, we loved it!

  • amazing

  • the scream isnt in the score..

  • A lot of music teachers like to include the scream :P

In fact, I just played today 0_0, and all the girls did the scream.

  • lol ^^

  • Wonderful selection and wonderful job. We played this in H.S. in 2002, brings back memories. The only thing I don't like is the trap set during the phantom of the opera piece. During practice we'd always mess around and play it like that, but during the concert it sounds much cleaner with timpani, cymbals, and other instruments. The rock beat just pulls it too far into a rock song.

  • ...OMG...I thought our band was great...

Whoever was talking needed to shut the hell up.

  • I HATE PEOPLE WHO TALK DURING PERFORMANCES they should all be put in jail

I'm In 5 bands and they talk all the time

  • SO RUDE TO TALK

  • But he is right

  • Yes! Slap her noW!

  • Someone should have bitchslapped the whore that wouldn't shut up in the background.

  • Nice !!! But we played better :P xD

  • Wait, you might not know what that is. Did you have a bass clarinet or a baritone saxophone?

  • Did you have a bass or a bari?

  • I've just started learning the 3rd clarinet part. It's quite challenging, looking forward to playing it.

  • Its really good once you get through it all. Our band had four days to learn it (along with 6 other pieces), and it was the best performance I have ever heard. We also played the main theme from this in the Royal Albert Hall, and we connected the drums to an amp of some sort. When the drums were hit (on the second repeat), it made the whole hall shake, and we got a standing ovation!

  • Great performance...How rude of the people talking in the background though.

  • Lol...

u noe one of the flute players is out teacher...

    Damn funny~^^

  • Lol...

u noe one of the flute players is out teacher...

    Damn funny~^^

  • AWESOME!!!

i wish our band could be like this one

  • im loving this video:D we did something like this at our last year concert but ours was backwards:D

lol yup started with teh theme and ended with music of the night! hmm we did not play masquerade though:( i like that song anywho i love your wind section :D clarinetsrok along with flutes:D

  • Aw man, I'm definitely going for the next concert since I missed the last few...

  • OHhhhhhh I love this BSO!!!!!!!

I play this BSO in my band in Spain, and I love so much this and no others versions that I listen to.

  • I play that piece in my band, in Portugal, and its my favorite music!!!!

    Excelent!!!!

  • Probably the best, if not one of the best school-level performances of the "Phantom" suite out on YouTube. The medley was pretty seamless, Bravo.

  • sounded like the london philharmonic!!!Bravo!!!

  • more vibes!!!!!!!!!!!! especially towards the end of the phantom of the opera melody

  • where are the bells at the 6:55 mark.. that part just totally stands out... xylophone could have stood out a lot more in masqurade... i just got back yesterday i saw this on broadway it was amazing

  • STILL the best 14 minutes and 43 seconds of my life.

And I still can't get over the fact that you played the scene "Notes!" This was almost a professional performance!

  • roflmao

you should hear my school band play

    *they suk balls*

  • the think of me part was really wierd :\

  • damn those people chatting when the band is playing, fxxking annoying!!!

(sorry for my vulgarity, but i really hate them, never respect the performers and the other audiences)

  • this is really great especially for a school band! real shame about the people having a chat through it though!

  • Thank for posting this video! This bring back so much of my forgotten memories 10 yrs ago! We used to play this song in high school brassband as well and I played the piccolo. Gosh, missed those school days!

  • brilliant

  • VERY very good

  • omg lmao =D it's beautifull love it best orchestra version i've ever heard =D oke, the musical was better but those childrens here are teenagers =D so wow verry nice

  • i LOVE this song. we played this for our Spring Concert and yeah, people were talking when we first started playing. but then at like, middle of it, after a grand pause, EVERYONE was shut up and they were listening. :DDDDD

  • This is a really cool arrangement. . . lots of flute stuff. . . yay!

Are you the principal flutist here?

  • no...I play the clarinet in this group :)

  • how long did this group practised?

  • wow...

this is the best version ive heard so far~!

  • *sigh* God that was beautiful! I've been a phan for oh so long! And that was very beatiful. It was almost as good as the orchestra in Vegas. (ALW said they performed the scores best)

  • first part is euphonium or french horn solo? I think it's french horn... It's really good!

  • the talknig disrupt the whole thing.

    it's supposed to be perfect.

    too bad.

but it was really very good.

    really.

  • man this is one of the best band version of this music, if not the best

  • what the hell? can't people just shut up and stop talking whem people are playing??? so annoying.

but anyways, i think it is a great performance =)

  • We made this with our music band :D

  • calidad guaaaannnnn,

  • lovely arrangement. wind and brass bands are the best

  • go flutes :)

it would've been better if people werent talking the whole time..

    but i loved it

  • It's great! I love it but THE TALKING!!! ARGH!!!! Great job, though!

  • At bar 29,It goes to slow.I played but i think the tempo isnt right.

    Overall,It's nice:D !

    Great job!

  • so WHOSE tempo is right then?

  • band's songs got may version, dude.. maybe urs version is the different version

  • wow that was awesome...it gave me chills :)...GREAT JOB!!!

  • SHUTUP!!! How are you meant to listen to such lovely music with ignorant idiots chatting!

    Nice Job :)

  • French horns are completely owning this piece. :D

  • very nice. thanks to load up this video.

    DNKDW

  • god show

  • nice

wish the background people would SHUT UP so we could hear the band.

  • They played Notes! The scene "Notes", I mean.

Absolutely Gorgeous! But I wish that the people in the background would quit jabbering! It's taking away from the beauty of the music!

  • I didn't know CCs had such bands too!

This is a great performance, well done!

  • I played it also with our band.

    This is amazing

    Nice hob !!

  • Our band played this last year too, and I must say this is quite well-played. I like the balance in some parts, since even the professional recording sounds unbalanced at times. Good job.

  • The trombone solo is still the best:D

  • nice...

  • what school is this ?

the band is so good !

  • ahhh french horns sound beautifull!

as well as the band of course!

    great jobb (:

  • weee!finally the version i was looking for

  • there is no tubas on baritones :(

  • there are tubas and baritons, if you could listen well, but they aren't at the screen...

  • That's a great performance! Good job.

  • this is nicee..!

  • wow, love the trumpet/cornet part at ~6:20+

how DO you tell the difference?

  • what version/copy do u have and good job but the trumpeter messed it up but the other one saved him

  • So what if the trumpeter did mess up?

Will it spoil the entire show?

I'm sorry if it did that to you.

I'm sorry for you, that is.
