Alan, have you seen the doc called Shoah on here. It's good, there are i think 59 parts to it, but very worth the watch. It does have subtitles, the folks are talking in 2 different languages which I am not sure what they are, but I know you speak a few languages so maybe you won't need the subtitles. @lilliteningpea I saw Shoah many years ago - I think I also have it on VHS tape somewhere! I think it was this film which gave me the idea to do what I did on filming things in Poland! I can understand nearly all of the original language (as well as the French)! I have got a lot more from other camps if you are interested!
I am interested. I can't get enough of learning about this time in our world. I find it intriguing and interesting, sad, and not understandable that people could do this to other people.

@lilliteningpea I will certainly continue to film things I see. I have done some research on ghettos but the problem is time as it takes a great deal of time to go through documentation. However I shall continue to document what I can. I was quite pleased with my documentation of the Radomsko ghetto which was also reported in the local press there!

@AngeliaClaire Remains are clearly visible in the photographs of the time as people will there will also confirm. One can find bits of bone on the site but not to the same degree as at Bełżec before it was covered and at Sobibór and Chełmno nad Nerem.

It does have subtitles, the folks are talking in 2 different languages which I am not sure what they are, but I know you speak a few languages so maybe you won't need the subtitles. @lilliteningpea I saw Shoah many years ago - I think I also have it on VHS tape somewhere! I think it was this film which gave me the idea to do what I did on filming things in Poland! I can understand nearly all of the original language (as well as the French)! I have got a lot more from other camps if you are interested!

I guess that part of your story was left out. And it is a FACT, Treblinka front gate was a farmers market and the fence was chain link. There was nothing SECRET about Treblinka. Day 1 and 2 they bombed the city on the 3rd day they bombed the refugees on the fields escaping the fires whilst they were on the fields. Between editions, Irving receives written confirmation TB47 is forged. Irving makes no changes. "Butler" - You're joking! Butler paraphrases and reports mistreatment. Hoess stood trial 12 months later and changed nothing! He did however, praise his captors.

Lipstadt's defence team - she's a holocaust expert, not a legal expert - sought to defend every element of Irving's libel complaint by proving that his objections were not only unfounded, they were based on Irving's extreme racism, mistranslations, manipulated facts and edited documents. He couldn't even remember where he'd changed his mind or adopted a different opinion in his own writing!
This is an authority on third reich history. And he lost the lot.

The zoo was at Treblinka I not II, why are there photos of it at Treblinka II?
Also it certainly doesn't appear to be clay untouched for 10,000's of years being shifted by those excavators, more like fine topsoil or even sand, judging by the piles.

Topsoil does not make holes that big. As for the sand, I refer you to any reference book on the nature of the land in this part of the world.
I have never heard of the book you quote but if that is what is written it is completely incorrect. What source does the book quote? Or did you make it up?
