That silver thing is called a "Capo" and it is used to change the key and pitch of the open strings of the guitar without having to adjust the strings with the tuning keys.

Basically, it allows you to play something higher without having to re-tune your guitar or changing the hand positions you normally use.

You should play this song the way you enjoy the most.

@GoncaloMartins1 In the eyes of a musician you would be given many a kudos for using chords rather than just picking individual notes. But really it is all about what is most comfortable and more fun to play. I personally like trying to use chords because it gives you a general range for improvization. so, hi five!

Yeah... Wind Waker is great.

Some of the triforce shards were boring to obtain indeed... But there were some that were interesting (like the one in that cave in Outset Island, where you have to defeat dozens of enemies in each floor).

Yeah, the fiddle part is also cool and I've already tried to play it but it's tough because the rythm part remains the same for the whole song while the solo goes higher and higher. It makes it harder to play them both at the same time like I play this one.
