Even better, missile and laser strikes could actually hit the monsters, instead of the area around them, since the CG explosions could not damage those expensive suits.
I wish someone could do that for War Of The Worlds 1953. Strings on the ships detract from it on DVD.

There I am casually flipping through the newsletter when I land on the calender and listed for a August 11th release date a day after my birthday is Godzilla 2000. I literally lost my shit right there in class. Seeing the real Godzilla in theaters was a treat and a memory I still treasure to this day.
I remember seeing this in theaters as a kid...well, a younger kid, I'm only a sophomore in high school, but I remeber thinking that this movie kicked so much ass it wasn't even funny. Looking back, I now know the pain of dubs, but I still think it's the best Godzilla movie.

@misterprickly No that would most likely be Final Wars, 2000 is a direct sequel to the original, like all of the Millennium movies. The only continuity is from the first movie, although its believed that the Final Wars Godzilla is Junior.

This is a great movie along with the other millenium series movies.godzilla seems more baddass in the millenium series because he never gets help and usually has the odds stacked against him.which is what i hoped the heisei series would have been like but godzilla gets owned by space g and destoroyah.

Just got done watching it for the first time about 10 minutes ago. An if you can look past the CG, youll ABSOLUTLY find a great movie. I could nip-pick at it, but overall, great fuckin movie. Loved the alien, using godzillas (regeneration g1) lol. Fantastic.

I remember freaking out when i heard about Godilla 2000 being released at Apple Valley Cinimas in Rhode Island! It was mentioned in the paper and i almost shit my pants! I was only about 6 years old. But holy shit, my first and only godzilla movie i have ever seen in thearters. Untill Godzilla 2012 Releases next yeat? IS that film going to happen or what?

@misterprickly No that would most likely be Final Wars, 2000 is a direct sequel to the original, like all of the Millennium movies. The only continuity is from the first movie, although its believed that the Final Wars Godzilla is Junior.

@TheGfan101 Final Wars was intended for an adult Godzilla Junior, but a change to the script and then it was left for the fans to decide, but that's my own opinion, Toho's biggest problem after GvD was lack of continuity in the Godzilla Millennium Series and they need to stop doing that.
