@shrk128 But this trailer is marked as a "Teaser -Trailer". It only there to awake the interest in the game. Also, the pics/cutscenes fit with the rhythm of the music, so I wouldn't say its a mess of pics and music.

no shit, this looks so amazing ... what i pray for that they keep on telling the story just the way they did in the first one, i see no problems for a third game. its just pure awesomeness i experience while playing the first game. what Call of Cthuluh - Dark Corners of the Earth and Half-Life 2: Episode 1 and 2 couldn`t give was the feeling that i am really part of the whole atmosphere. they threw me right into the whole happening. in metro the gamer gets ARTYOM.

I preordered the first metro and was at the midnight release. I played it all night and the entire following day. I beat it that day. I later realized that because the game was so short that it wasnt worth 60 dollars. The quality of ; the story, the gameplay and the graphics were there, but it was far too short. I sincerely hope that this game is not that way.

according to my reading of the book and my observations of the trailer images. I guess this is going to be about the war between the Hansa (at that time it was an alliance between independent stations, it wasnt called Hansa yet) and the Reds. But in the book that happened years before the journey of Artyom, and in this game it appears to be after his escalation to the tower so... speculation ftw ^^

but i hope the game will have more free roaming. it should have actually , since 4agames will realse the game sometime in 2012 (2012-that rings a bell in my mind^^). 2 years developement. wow, most games have one year.

@casualuserable Actually, most games have two years between them, unless they work REALLY hard. For instance, CoD4:MW (2007), MW2 (2009), MW3 (2011). Infinity Ward produced those, and Treyarch produced CoD:WaW (2008) and CoD:BO (2010).

I really think that Metro 2033 was under appreciated. The gameplay and shooting mechanics could definitely have used some improvement, but I dont think that it was quite as bad as everyone said.

there are two things i am hoping for this game to accomplish

1. Better shooting mechanics. and gameplay. (i would like for there to be Hit animations for the enemies.)

2. I would like the game to be a bit scarier. such as having occasional (popout moments) and Dark ambient music. A lot like STALKER SOC

Yeah, the advertisting for Metro was in the dumps--you're right about mechanics and scares, but overall it was a brilliant game. Hopefully they'll smooth over the cracks in this version ;D
