I see Mart Hulswit was in the cast at this time. He played Ed Bauer on GL all through the 70s and into the early 80s. And Ann Flood had been Nancy Karr on EON for 20+ years before this. Seems like SFT was employing several soap vets at this time.
This episode had been videotaped just about one week before the cast was informed of the show's cancellation- apparently, the exact episode they were taping when they found out was the follow up episode to this one, when Ella Hobbs was pointing her gun at Jo in the elevator housing room. This time period for the show was phenomenal. What a shame the powers that be wouldn't give it just a little longer to revitalize itself. What a classic.
Lisa Peluso left Search Dec 1985 to pursue other projects. Her last ep as Wendy Wilkins Carter was Dec 24 1985. The show really tried to get her to stay and left the storyline open for her return had she decided to come back. She added so much to the show.
