Listen, I hear beeps when pokemon attack. The REAL remake is of Gold and silver (Heart gold and soul silver.) look more carefully.

1: No two REAL pokemon games have the same name.

2: They never make remakes of remakes like Yellow for red and blue or crystal for gold and silver. You've never heard "Clear crystal" "Static Yellow" "Fern emerald" or "Light Platinum" (also hack) Warning: This is NOT a remake.

hello ive recently bought a gba sp 101 off ebay because i love old school 2d gaming. im nearly 30 so i grew up playing nes,snes megadrive etc anyway ive been looking around youtube trying to find out what the best games are for gba and people constantly mention pokemon games so my question is this, i missed the the whole pokemon craze because of my age and ive never played an rpg game but in your opinion is it worth me buying a pokemon game and if so where do i start ???? any advice youtubers ?

@a280281 Pokemon is a good way to start if you haven't played an RPG Game, like at all. I reccomend trying out Pokemon FireRed,LeafGreen. These two are the same games but with some minor diffrences (like wild encounters and other) Pokemon rocks and you will like it, i promise!

I colelct the games, new pokemon games called black and white are coming out, if you like old school gaming better try pokemon gol, silver, crystal or/and pokemon red, blue, green or yellow. If you like those you could even get pokemon firered, leafgreen, ruby, sapphire, or emerald. And there is also diamond, pearl which came out in 2007, and platinum, heartgold, soul silver.

if you DO like old school games (the ones that are almost black and white, with only few other colors (green, red, blue), try playing pokemon red, pokemon green, pokemon blue and pokemon yellow. the first three are basicly the same, so i would recomand yellow. ^^ if you are more for newer games, try crystal, gold or silver. the crystal one is the best (i now the whole game by heart and i love it)

if you are for really new stuff:emerald, diamond, pearl.hope i helped:D

@a280281 and another thing: if you decide to play crystal, try buying the japanese version (one town is a little bit different then the same one in UK or america, and in japanese you can get a rare pokemon named celebi becouse of that difference)

Actually, I should know. I know the person who made the game... >.> It's a pirated version of Crystal. They made it into GBA games but they aren't licenced by Nintendo, because they're fake. Not knocking on th game or anything, it's a good game, but I'm just simply stating that it isn't a real Nintendo game. And if you look at the video description it calls it a "patch for pokemon emerald version." That means someone hacked into emerald on their computer and made a new game. ._.

Some people would rather play the games on their Game Boy Advance, which is a helluva lot better than playing it on a PC emulator...

Of coruse, if you have a hacked PSP, you can play it on a hand held for free. But not everyone does.

of course it is. it is a redesign of 2 games: pokemon gold and pokemon sylver. they are black cartidges (game boy color games that can be played on the original game boy so on the pack it says game boy) while crystil is clear cartridge (only works on the color, advance,or advance sp not advance micro)
