They had many books on Black Americans such as Frederick Douglass, George Washington Carver, etc. At the elementary school I attended. Unfortuantely, none of them were required reading. I was appalled however, to see that while George Washington Carver did not appear on the display board for Black HIstory Month at my college, that there was a picture of MIchael Jackson up there. Surely GWC deserved to be up there?

I do not ever remember any history class I was in that was all about white people and their history. Also we learned about Englands history to Dutch because nobody is just white they have a culture background.
