  • Reading the manual!!!! Amazing! I'm so proud, not enough people read that vital piece of information that comes with the confusing piece of equipment. How refreshing to see this when over 80% of all seats are installed or used incorrectly.

  • Yup, It got installed to be rear facing... He outgrew that 20 lb limit @ 5 months old and got moved to a convertable seat... we plan to keep him rear facing till a couple pounds before it's limit of 40lbs.

Thanks for the concern and reminding others who may watch this video that rear facing is safest!

  • In the one screen it looks like your base is installed to use forward facing. I am not sure if you have it installed that way or if you are driving with it uninstaled. The belt path should be towards the back of the car. Babies MUST rearface to at least 1 year and 20 pounds, but longer is better.

  • Great job on knowing to get it checked out!!! (I believe you bought a Graco Snugride). Remember to have the harness nice and tight on the baby and to have the chest clip across the chest (armpit level) and not across the belly. I commend you for going to have you seat checked, not enough people do that.
