@leviamenra I will try to find them for you, and get back to you. They are deep, and I feel her as I have had a lot of the same issues; though comfortable, mostly, within my skin now: -)
I absolutely hate the racist term halfcast. I am not half a cast; eurasian, I am a Nigerian light skinned Nigerian black woman. That is my identity - and how I define myself. Does that mean that I do not acknowledge my scottish mother? of course not, but how can one be half of something. You are either wholly yourself, or you are lost. I totally identify with Nneka in this song.
@shotsky94 You are a complete ignoramous. I suggest you use your computer to google the origins of the word - and then talk. I laugh at people like you who would be too cowardly to say this to my face. Run along child, and go and play with people who debate on your juvenile level........
@shotsky94 If you don't know what the tearm actually means, and it's origins, I suggest you Google it. Also, if you find it difficult to express yourself eloquently and respectfully ... maybe you should just keep your opinions to yourself. Are you of Nigerian-European origin? If not, maybe your opinion doesn't matter.......
@fantasyflight1 I wonder how Ayo would respond to this? She appears to be happy with herself. But i must admit it is hard to to accept all sides (speaking from experience)
I'm impressed with the song, I began to like the song when i first heard it. I've never heard of her before but since I've had, I wanted to hear more of her music. I wish that I can attend a party in canada, where she is going, but I live in the midwest and do not have any way of getting there. She seem like a nice person when you meet her.
Story of my fucking life.

@lisa77080 I hear you. It has been hard for me to reconcile myself with my mixed heritage - especially as I think of myself as Nigerian first. xxx
