I happen to be a Christian, but I really don't think it's about God. "What made us feel this way" and a lot of other lines, don't exactly match up with Christ's love, or ours for Him. I guess certain lines can be applied to religion, but I think the whole theme is a romantic love. Any way you look at it, it's still a fantastic song<3

Going into further detail, it is reffering to all with souls. Animals and earth do not have souls, and therefore cannot have a relationship with God. Humans are the only living beings with souls, that can understand a realtionship with God. That's kinda harsh though, thinking we won't see our pets in heaven. But it's the truth.

I pray every night that i will find the right one for me. Then, the start of the last 9 weeks of school, i finally got the nerve to talk to this one pretty girl in my class. But when Jesus went and died on the cross for us and our sins, he provided a way for us to be saved. John 14:6 says "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me." If you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, you will be saved and given eternal life.

I happen to be a Christian, but I really don't think it's about God. "What made us feel this way" and a lot of other lines, don't exactly match up with Christ's love, or ours for Him. I guess certain lines can be applied to religion, but I think the whole theme is a romantic love. Any way you look at it, it's still a fantastic song<3

Going into further detail, it is reffering to all with souls. Animals and earth do not have souls, and therefore cannot have a relationship with God. Humans are the only living beings with souls, that can understand a realtionship with God. That's kinda harsh though, thinking we won't see our pets in heaven. But it's the truth.

You don't have to be Christian to listen to this, there's no law, everyone has there opinions, that's how it is. This song falls under the category of contempory christian and honestly if The Afters weren't Christian they wouldn't have this wonderful music they make, so just stop. Everyone needs God, you may not know it but if your talking about a god its spelled with a lower case g but if you talk about "God" its spelled with a capital "G" Also Christianity is a relationship with God.

I pray every night that i will find the right one for me. Then, the start of the last 9 weeks of school, i finally got the nerve to talk to this one pretty girl in my class. We talked pretty much everyday at school since then. but ive been away and she has been away and we have only talked on 3 or 4 times. Second, no one has ever said that man is surperior to animals & earth. Its even stated in the Bible somewhere that we're all created equal. I'm pretty certain that animals fall under "we are all." Non-believers: try to be polite when it comes to saying you don't believe in God. there's no need to be rude, as this subject is very important to some people.
Christians: Stop trying to push religion onto others. Accept the fact that this song can be about any kind of love.

@sailxonxmusic Because we sinned, we brought this suffering upon ourselves. Jesus lived a perfect life, but because we all have sinned, we are imperfect in God's eyes. But when Jesus went and died on the cross for us and our sins, he provided a way for us to be saved. John 14:6 says "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me." If you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, you will be saved and given eternal life.

@KathyIsDope People have MADE you believe this. You have been programmed by the people around you. None of it is true. It's so sad to see how people like you are forced into believing this crap. And even more sad is that you don't even realize how stupid and impossible this whole god/jesus/bible story is. I feel sorry for you, truly sorry. I hope that someday you might actually be able to live your life without being forced to obey to that god of yours. In the end, you'll see it's all nonsense.

@benajalocht I'm annoyed by ppl like u because they have often forced me to believe in god and jesus, while I certainly do not believe in them and I don't WANT to believe in them because I'm sure it's all fake. Satan does not exist, god does not exist and jesus does not exist. That is what I believe. I don't have to think about religion because I think it's all a lie. Believe in what you want, I don't care. Just don't try to force me to believe too. I don't live for your god and I never will. ;)

@benajalocht First of all, I am not your friend. Plus, I am not scared to live for "god", I'm just not ignorant and dumb enough to live for something that does not exist. You think you're gonna be with god when you die & that's my whole point. Your god is an excuse, no more than a made up entity that makes people like you feel less afraid of death. 2. Try to seriously understand what you read.
If you still disagree with Christianity...Then you failed to follow #2. I am tired of people everywhere thi
