  • cool clip thanks for sharing ..

  • THIS IS MY PROFESSION! 2YEARS TO FINISH WOOOT WOOT! BEST PROFESSION IN WORLD!

  • ehh im going automation in school now can i still lern to do things like this then ? :)

  • That put my project to sham wow....yes i said sham wow.

  • hi.........

  • hi i want to get a Graduation project how you can help me

    at email aammarhnaity32@hotmail.co.uk

  • Im really interested in mechatronics but i have no idea about the material :P I'm good at physics but im not sure if they will give us mechatronics basics in the university ="(

  • which university you guys are from?

  • how much this project cost???

  • awesome!!

    nice project ,bro :)

  • I'm going to do mechatronics at monash next year.

    Can't wait!

  • I will be student at mechatronics next year... My profile at high school was mechatronics too and i know the basic of it...now i hope to go further and to become a great engineer :D

  • awesome

    nice project

  • like it :D

  • I'm in second year of mechatronics!

  • WOW this is so amazing, I thought this was a fourth year project when I first saw the video, but then I saw the description. I'm going to be a freshmen at university next year studying towards a mechatronics major and this video is so cool. Hope I can design something as sick as this one day... =D

  • That is Awesome Guys ....

  • Thanks!

am up late/early doing an assignment- felt i needed a bitof motivation- and here it is :D

  • where can I get a undergraduate degree in mechatronics?

  • out in the mall in the $1 shop. idiot

  • @prankcalls420 oh yeah? thanks... maybe nexxt time you could stick the barrell of that cannon up your ass. Ill bet anyone 500 bucks it can find your brain in that area...

  • i feel so kick ass for bien a mechatronics engineer lol:D

  • im thinking of studying it.. is it realy nice"? and what about jobs u you get paid realy good?

  • im in engineering and actually i regreted specializing power i rly wanted michatronics but I was worried not to have a good job after graduation

  • This is the coolest career ever! I'm a senior in High school and I have always wanted to do this! I can't wait until college!

  • thats awesome.

Im studying that too in lithuanians KTU. kaunas technological university.

just a first year. but that is amazing :) you should to the target of crow's :D killing bad birds at home :D

  • hey mate....

    your project are brilliant!!!!

    superb..!

    erm,

    japan still no 1...

  • ofc -.-...

  • *Puts CD in Mouth*

  • nice project... thanks for the video... now i have an idea on what is my proposal project in my mechatronics subject... thanks guys...

  • hey guys...can i ask that u using wat kind of camera to trace the red dot?cos i may interested to do tat project for my final year mechatronics too...can giv me some more info abt it or can i add u thru msn or wat?\

    thx..

  • this is very interesting. I'd definitely look into mechatronics engineering.

  • Ok, the moral of the story. Don't attach cd's to your body for the fun of it.

  • w0w... awesome, but isn't it kinda dangerous?! hehehe...

GreaT job u guyz... this is exactLy why i wanna be a mechatronics student... it gets u to wake up the creativity in u... BRILLIANT!!! ^_^

  • Mechatronics is a combination of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, so yes robotics and control systems both definitely come under that banner. I recommend that you investigate your local universities for further information, as the course syllabus will naturally differ between universities.

  • Absolutely brilliant!

Definitely future Department of Defense engineers.

  • nice project guys, i m doing mechatronics too,

ill b in final year of my degree next year, might do that for my final year project looks cool

  • sweet guys, im in grade 12 and i want to get into mechatronics. got any tips for a newb to be?

  • i'm a mechtronics student too , i realy apriciate ur work guys .... KEEEEP it up

  • Sweet! I'm hopefully starting mechatronics next year! I'm first year engineering

  • really nice

  • what is the name of the first song on this vid

  • It's called What I've done by Linken Park.

  • thanx

  • hi eng.

thanks alot about this great video

    i a Mechatronics Engineer too...

    so

i going to develop some thing in this project

like the vertical motion of the target & the degree of freedom by increase the range of angle of the main motor

    so

is this project designed at 2008 ???

    thanx alot

  • nice

  • nice work, is this a post grad project?

  • no, we're undergraduate students. we completed this project when we were in the third year of our four-year engineering degrees.

most people do think it's a post-grad or final-year project though, cos it's quite complex. would have been really cool to expand it for a final-year project...

  • awesome, im in third year too at the university of queensland in Australia. Our third year project is the micromouse. But yours looks way cooler. What uni do you go to?

  • Monash University (Clayton). Yeah what happened was we didn't like the project they gave us, so we proposed our own idea, and they were happy to let us do it.

The ECSE students have the option of doing the micromouse as well, but since we're Mechatronics we do a different unit and weren't offered that project.

  • @davidsfoh GREAT VIDEO AND PROJECT!! :D.. I'm a mechatronics student from Italy! How did you process the video signal? With the FPGA?.. And you use the distance between the light of the target and the red spot as error, right?? That's fantastic!! :D Your project is cool! Now are you graduated?

  • john made this didnt he?, or helped make it.

  • john who?

  • zhou

  • no john didn't work on this project. john is a double degree student, so he does this unit a year after we did it, so next semester.

  • That video came up really well. GO Mechatronics! hahahaha
