Absolutely magic. Branford, who is always funny, should shut up on this one. Pedantesque and pretentious. The drum solo in the only drum solo i can suffer. Or maybe Ringo's on Abbey Road's last track. Ah ah ah. Great post.
This is the best version of the live versions. This is the diamond version of I burn for you. It gives me chills, all the more i was there in Paris in May 1985 in Mogador. A long time ago...
The version on the Bring on the Night live album is not as great. This one is perfect. Sting was in state of grace as well as Omar Hakim. It's a shame there ain't more viewers.
@Sylsianne I'm sorry, but the Bring on The Night album version is 30 times better than this one (at least...) It has got no equals......maybe the first version with Last Exit........
A truly AMAZING song! I'm assuming this is an HD version from the Blu-Ray because the audio & video is fantastic!!! I was lucky to see this tour in So. Calif. back in 1985, and I'll truly never forget it. Omar's drumming in the chanting/fadeout is one of the best fanfares ever! My second favorite song of all-time and (I feel) the one song that best conveys the longing and passion that we all hope to feel for that ONE special love of our lives.
Omar is amazing just when you think he can't take it up another nothch up it goes. The most amazing part watch his hi hat. During the solo.he is playing rock solid sixteenth notes during the whole thing. . . . unbelievable

@matrikable
maybe for you but not for me. Don't need to post your comments on my tastes, that's a bit stupid and ridiculous.

@Sylsianne don't need to offend me...it was just a comment...leave your repressed aggressiveness out...

Branford has great humility...and a knack for the truth...

One of the best Sting performances ever. Omar Hakim really goes off at the end and kicks this thing in high gear.

Lol. All the lighters go off when the bridge kicks in.
And I love KK's smile at 4:55.
