The commercial was about PC innovation, not "Microsoft" innovation. The commercial is meant to show the Mac's hardware innovations over the PC-Industries innovations (or lack thereof).
I think most of the people who says macs are "gay" have never tried one or have never owned one... If you're a hardcore gamer, fine get a pc. On the other hand, macs are the most used for graphic design industry and editing. Yes macs are expensive ..but yet so hackable and easy to use. And I think everyone knows that theres multiple applications that allows you to play or run ANY windows applications on it (like Bootcamp, Parallel and Crossover). Every system has its ups and down..
And PCs have magnesium and carbon builds.. lighter and stronger.. now coming Quad Cpus for notebooks.. new graphics cards that can do SLI... faster on SSD drives with no slow down.
Um the lost goes on and on and on.....
But keep trying Apple - you can still get some of the sheep to follow ;)
@jabberwolf Actually I have an iMac dual core, 2 GBs of RAM (DDR3s btw, whos using DDR2s anymore? Oh, right most PCs are). I actually had a race with a Quad Core 6 Gig RAM gaming machine and the iMac was faster than it was. No joke. iMacs weight about 30 pounds, carry it with one hand but you got that nice big, bulky PC which you have to buy a separate monitor and computer case. The graphics in a Mac are rendered from 256MBs to look like a 1Gig graphics card. Why buy stuff you dont need?
@jabberwolf I must comment on your magnesium/carbon comment. G2 iMacs cant overheat. Aluminum is lighter, acts like a heat sink because simply aluminum is the only metal that can distribute heat all around instead of just once area and the 3 fans cool it down. All hardware is connected to the monitor, something thats not in a PC.
If Apple "sucks balls", then how come they are the best selling brand in the computer(in USA), music player and music market? I do have a Mac, but I'm not proud and bragging about it. I just like to work with it when I'm creating music, video, image and stuff.
reminds me a bit of the coke vs. pepsi ads. I loved these ads, but this one is not really funny... If I had the money I'd always go for the Mac though- they look great, they are easier to set up + more stable. Mainly a question of money, if you ask me...

OMG! I know 2 people in this add. The first guy in the bubble wrap, Dan Nainan and the guy at the end with the 2 beers on his shoulders, Eric Deskin. They both are great in this commercial. They both look convingly dejected, very good acting for both of them, both are very much the opposite.
Yes, Dan Nainan is a well known South Asian comedian. He actually performed at my (I'm Shahryar, using my R1i channel username) wedding. I also have opened up for him a few times.
the reason why is because the itouch and the iphone would get too similar and they know people will create other app for the new features of the itouch..which in the end would boost the sells of the itouch..and therefor lower the sells of the iphone.
