This is such a beatiful song. Rush has some way of reaching out to the fans and making that connections where you feel the song was written just for you. It is simply amazing. I am often away from home, and this song seems like it says all that I want to say, and all the feelings I feel. And every part of it is beautiful right until the end, extremely relaxing...almost a reflecting song.

Rush is as EPIC as J.R.R Tolkien , also my favorite things . I have not read any fiction novels since I was 15 and read the all of his books . and I got into RUsh the first time I saw them was '81 . I listen to this song often and it will always remind me of those books and the journey we took . I love Rush , always

Did she write some part of the tale of the Hobbits?

Was she an influence to Tolkien when he wrote the 4 Hobbit books?

Her claim to fame is the fact Jackson chose her to moan and groan for those that call it singing. The Celts must be starved for entertainment.

I wouldn't go so far as to call Tolkien a noob because you like another author more. Lord of the Rings is the most read book in the history of the world second only to the bible. I would consider that fact a vote of confidence for Tolkien being the master.

Umm, that's because people in general prefer fantasy than to improve themselves and deal with the truth. Most people don't like and don't understand true freedom. Just take a look at "Freewill" based on Ayn. Practical wise Ayn Rand work is 1000 more useful for a person than anything related to LOTR. Being the most famous never indicates being the best, many times is the contrary.

I like both works but for me Ayn does tons more than Tolkien ever did. He's just entertainment.

Threw good times in the last 30 years Rush has been for me an anchor. A point of identity. Even when it seemed at times that my life was over Rush reminded me of the power and the spirit of music.
