Imogen uses a more complex method of voice harmonization. In her recording the harmony voices don't move in fourths; they're much more independent. It's obvious that that type of orchestration would take multitrack recording and be much more complicated. Harmonizing in fourths like that takes you out of key quite often.

@girlwithyellowbag i actually didn't know about the harmonizing mic that Imogen uses until after I did this video. lol I actually used garageband to drop copies of the melody 4ths above and below, making edits here and there, in order to create somewhat of the same effect.

@SCCOOTTER16 Heck no. Imogen uses a vocoder. With a vocoder you're playing each of the notes on a keyboard, and the mic is going through the keyboard as well. With this it's set harmonies that are completely rigid, and more synthetic.
