I'm asking myself before buying one of those Luminox watches is tritum in the capsules properly isolated from the rest of the watch. If it isn't it could harm us, and in the long run drasticaly damage our health. Does anyone know something about that?
But yeah man thanks for the advice because months ago after seeing all these watches used by SOF (primarily the SEALs, SAS and SBS though) I was in total confusion of which was the best.
I bought this watch. It got replaced six times in the two years I owned it. The only thing Luminox watches have going for them is they are FANTASTIC in the dark. Otherwise they are flaming piles of %$^@.
I have owned casio g-shits and Timex junk. I bought the Luminox 3000 series watch 7 years ago, I can honestly say it out performs any casio in the field and in the water. I won't buy anything except Luminox...But I have a feeling I won't every have to buy another watch my whole life. This watch has been to hell and back and back to hell again. Never again will I have to worry about reliability of a watch again.
haha...you gotta be kidding me a SEAL would buy this piece of junk.
A timex or g-shock should more appropriately be the SEAL watch, cuz its all they wear in reality. HAHAHA 800 bucks???!?!? I barely made 800 a paycheck in the navy hahaha.

Help please! I don't know if I should go with either the G-Shock gulfman/frogman or the luminox or mtm watches.

@LilATL94 I would recommend a Frogman over the others. I believe the MTM costs around US$2000.

Excellent watch. The Evo "Ultimate Seal" watches are such a leap up from the earlier non Evo models. A true professional model.
