Just to let you know I did not give Webster's definition of schizophrenia just to disprove what looks like an up and coming artist. There would be no point for me to bitch about it. Anyway just an FYI.
@scooba1steve, Further, she acknowledges the hallucinations and the delusions in the second version and nowhere does she really say someone has multiple personalities, in fact, I'd argue the speaker is the "beautiful schizophrenic" or more accurately, the "beautiful schizophrenic" are the voices she's hallucinating.
So yeah, she knows what you said and the song is perfectly wed to it.
