I love this song, and when the little girl started playing it in Moneyball I was like, that song is that old?? got home and checked and found out it wasn't. I'm not denying it wasn't great in the film, it fit perfectly, I'm just kind of annoyed the filmmakers so blatantly ignored timing.

Damn! So Billy Beane's daughter didn't write it. I am now slightly disappointed. And then to make matters worse, of course some producer had to take it and pop it all up, I'm assuming. The beauty of the girl singing it in Moneyball is the vulnerability of it, which is completely lost in this studio recording. Some songs are just better stripped down.
