  • Great sound! I very rarely hear some one get such a rich tone on a small bore. Insightful advice too

  • Great stuff Ed! Remembering the most obvious of things is SO important - for myself, and for the students. Things people (like me) sometimes take for granted (like focus) are actually the most important things to be aware of.

    Thanks for sharing this. -Pete

  • This is really excellent advice. I needed a boost of inspiration and I got it through you video. Thanks :-)

  • Great stuff again, really like what you have to say. The improv at the end with plunger was bloody awesome by the way

  • Thanks for the kind words. It's always nice to hear when someone is watching/listening. No I haven't heard of Dr. Paul, but I will check him out.

DVD with all my videos coming soon.....

    Peace!! Ed

ed, you've got a winner personality, it especially when you're laughing... ^^

some of the expressions you used reminded me of dr. paul (dobransky)... you know his psychological book?

  • I like the part of a wrong note is "just a surprise". I laughed. I have always said that the reason why I practice so hard is that when my mind fails, my body will tell the music instead. Thanks.

  • amazing improv at the end

like watching hendrix with a wah-wah

  • great, thanks for this video, it´s great. what trombone are you using i this video???

  • King, Silver Sonic, 3B with Bach 6 1/2 AL mouthpiece.

  • Very nice video presentation. Thank you.

  • Nice video. Thanks.

  • Thank you for posting this.

It's great that truth is universal, knowledge and wisdom are avaliable to anyone who looks for them. I've also come to the realization of the importance of focus,I'm a beginner musician, but not only in music does the focus makes all the difference.I agree with you on this. I think it takes discipline and willingness to sacrifice all the other stuff we usually think about for the sake of doing one thing right at a particular moment.

  • Thanks for watching...

  • Great vid.
