  • sounds sweet

  • Cool stang! nice sound

  • Did you weld on the mufflers or did you buy the catback? if so what kit # did u get, awesome stang kicks ass and sounds awesome.

  • did you have any other engine mods when you made this video...im welding in a set of 2 1/2" flowpaths nest week and was just wondering what all you had done...sounds awsome your vid actually sold me on them

  • No mods, completely stock motor.

Just remember that I did have no cats when I filmed this video, so unless you remove your cats, it won't sound the same.

  • Well these will be mated too an 2 1/2" mac o/r H so should sound real nice espcially since the new set of cams i got for christmas

  • video is put together great. You sold me

  • got a vid of ur new set up??

and btw, whats that song in the beginning called?

  • i wonder if a prochamber will get rid of the trumpeting noise at higher rpms

  • I'd say it definately would. I know someone with the same setup but with 3" off-road H pipes, and they sound way deeper.

The prochamber would help in increasing the depth of sound.

  • does it sound louder with the prochamber??

  • i woulda kept the MAC instead of switching to flows..

the flows are loud and all, but r raspy and metallicy sounding on mustangs..

    the MAC's sound amazing!

    especially on cobras ;)

  • I agree about macs on cobras.. 4v engines are completely different.

The flows are way less raspy then macs on the 2v engines. I'll post a video of the same angles / rpms are I did on this video, but with my flows soon, then you'll all see.

The flows has a way deeper tone and cleaner sound. And keep in mind, I'm talking SUPER 40's, not the regular 40's.

  • nice sounding mustang, i want to hear u hammer it all the way through the gears

  • I actually ended up changing to Flowmaster Super 40's, I like the deeper sound of the flows.

I'll make a video of it one of these days, it'd be a good comparison of MAC vs Flows.

  • do they still make catted h-pipes?

  • Nice. Mine sounds very similar to yours. Ive got a Mac O/R H-pipe and MAC Flowpath

  • sounds good. I"m thinking about puttin an O/R H on my 01 GT as well. Did you experience any noticeable gains or was it really just more for sound?

  • Stricly for sound. You won't notice any power gains with just an O/R H.

With an O/R X on a 4.6 you will notice a little bit of gain, couple that with headers and you'll definately feel the kick. But IMO o/r X's sound like shit in 4.6's

  • sounds owesome love your stang love it man take care of car peace

  • I have since upgraded to Flowmaster Super 40s, because I wanted a deeper sound.

I'll make a new video soon using the same exact angles for compariso, it'll help a lot of people choose between Flows and Mac.

  • sounds pretty balls.I have a 2000 gt with sss catback and it sounds pretty similar.Nice video.

  • haha, neighbor is a car collector

  • why are there so many cares coverd in ure garage

  • Trust me, it's not just the pro-chamber that smells horrible, my car also does with just the O/R H.

    Thanks for the comments.

  • Cool video man, very informative. I have an 04 GT with the MAC catback and the Prochamber O/R. It sounds insane but the smell is horrible.

    Your car sounds great!

  • nice rims u got

  • Someone's missing the point.

  • LOL

  • Thanks.
