  • What a masterly performance. I've never heard such a range of expression from a piano. I'd pay anything to hear him 'live'.

  • hmmm... is this the 15th rhapsody? it doesnt seem so on my sheets...

  • just F*A*N*T*A*S*T*I*C ! ! !

  • super!

  • Volodos is a great pianist. This sounds like an etude played with great gusto compared with the Horowitz version. Horowitz version is a diamond. Volodos is chunks

    of broken glass.

  • Can he play anything the way it's written?

  • Of Course, he can. Only students and pupils play the way it's written, but he is THE ARTIST!

  • the ending to this piece pwnz

  • THIS RULE!

  • this is one of my favourite Hungarian Rhapsodies... opening with innocent octaves to herald the arrival of rich chords and stately thematic developments, it quickly grows and flourishes in organic fashion, engaging and captivating us along the way... Arcadi Volodos answers thematic statements masterfully, his technique brightly illuminating a marching landscape... Volodos has the musicianship to do this work full justice, and he does!
