They're not using a vocal track unless it's for effects that can't be achieved live. Vocal distortions, yes. It's not like that's anything new. He keeps screaming the same thing over and over again at the start because he's adjusting vocal distortion for the song. The box with the metalic trim next to the mic controls vocal effects. He starts the song the same way every time because he has to adjust the effects. You can see him do what I'm talking about live in the same song if you search for it
