Hahaha!!! Killswitchme is a joke!!!!! His name is a perfect indication of that! hahaha! What a waste of time. haha. Honestly. I mean Radiohead is great...and so is this unrealized band. So for them to be on a decline, I'm pretty sure they first have to experience a big uprising of fame...haha. Which they haven't. They have kept an integrity which has yet to be reached by many bands and realized by many people. Radiohead is amazing...and would agree with this band if they had the advantage.

You see, I play guitar and grew up worshiping Johnny Greenwood of Radiohead. He uses a kill switch, you douche. Sorry to break it to you, but this unimaginative, bore of a scene is on the decline. So quit the grandma music and opt for something with more balls. I'd recommend Foals, Tiger City, Friendly Fires, Mystery Jets, Phoenix, Green Concorde, I could go on.

Foals, Frindly Fires, Mystery Jets... Those bands are far more flash in the pan/disposable than Califone.
I don't understand how you can say the album is terrible, did you even listen to it? Quickly skimmed through on some sup-par computer speakers no doubt.

"bland indie-folk scene" That's funny. These guys have been making challenging noise as well as acoustic stuff for decades (check out Red Red Meat).. Phoenix? balls? well, I'd say something but i'd be stooping to the level of a critic. A critic I'm not, for each his own.. You sound like a just the kind of clove-smoking hipster that would judge a band by one record (if you really heard the damn thing). Go puke on Ke$ha or something that truly does suck.
