  • As it always was, George Harrison was with the program, always on the right page. How could The Beatles have ever compiled a credible album without him ? And let's not forget ' Ludwig ' on the drums.

  • this song is one of the few songs ive ever really related to

  • I want to tell~ you

  • Youtube should create a better system for commenting. Perhaps next to every reply, there is a link you can click to take you over to the comment it was replying to?

  • @14koder They should use Reddit's system.

  • @14koder But also, ctrl+f is your friend.

  • @alreadytakenthe3rd I love it when I think of a reply, then scroll down and see the 1st comment is exactly what I would've said =]

  • naw it's cool, you REALLY don't have to search for what so and so wrote...it's okay.

  • MISTICA,RECARGADORA DE BATERIAS...LO MAXIMO

  • can someone please tell me what that 3rd chord is? lol it sounds kinda b-ish. I wonder if even the Beatles know...

  • @MrMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmk E7b9 076760

  • i know. and its love to you, not love you too.

  • @janicerosemiller its love you to, i have the album

  • @janicerosemiller

    self-correction. i admire that.

  • I wonder who's idea it was to do the short dissonant piano riff

  • @inkey2 It was probably "The Beatles" producer George Martin, for the idea.

  • @inkey2

It's just an inverted E7 chord. The 7th and the Root are right next to each other in the voicing as well.

  • @inkey2 George Harrison's idea. (From the wiki page for this song)

  • One of the best songs ............ever

  • working title was a breed of apple.

  • @janicerosemiller granny smith part friggin two was the working title because "love you too" was granny smith

  • I could listen to this song all day and night

  • fuck now i have to search what joe44850 wrote

  • @s1201 Your not obligated

  • @franciscojesus6 no, but curiosity is a powerful innate behavior.

  • @Farimira.......... no its not lol! Curiosity is not a "behavior" at all there maybe symptoms of the curious mind but come on lmao!

  • story of my life

  • love this song!!!!

  • GRACIAS GEORGE GRACIAS POR TANTO

  • ✿◕‿◕✿ Oh my, I'm in love ✿◕‿◕✿

  • George should make the transitions for every Beatles song... his bridges are always the best!

"And if I seem to act unkind, it's only me it's not my mind, that is confusing things... Sometimes I wish I knew you well, then I could speak my mind and tell you, maybe you'd understand..."

  • Beatles. Best ever. Period.

  • Woow scary it's like i wrote this song ! It's actually what i live !

  • I feel hung up and I don't know why, I don't mind, I could wait forever.... I got time.

  • i love the part at the end "I've got timeeeeeee" with paul in the background just WOW

  • don't you hate that the top two commemts are the same thing and that they are least popular then the comment of some random dude saying that he hates that the top two coments are the same?

  • Thank you George Harrison, just brilliant.

  • hello people! take a minute to watch my cover of "i want to tell you", it's posted as a video response!

Bloody prick. Go listen to the Stones if you like them so much.

  • @EmilioToon Shut the hell up and go away, Quit being a fucking retard

  • Comment removed

  • @EmilioToon say one thats bad -.-"

  • George Harrison was incredibly underrated, despite being a Beatle. Some of his songs are my favorites :D This song in particular I love

  • SOMETIMES I WISH I KNEW WHERE THEY PULLED THESE WORDS AND MUSIC FROM PURE GENIUS TO ALL 4 LADS

  • Awesome!

  • The song is about pot acc to McCartney.

  • @Richard2003 I think you're thinking about Got To Get You Into My Life. This song is about George's inability to write a song at the time.

  • i want to tell you that 7 nowheremen dislike this great song

  • i feel like this song is criminally UNDERrated. when i first got into the beatles, i always gravitated to george's songs

  • i feel like this song is criminally rated. when i first got into the beatles, i always gravitated to george's songs

  • I agree. "Rubber Soul" was just a hint different from their earlier stuff. Most of the earlier stuff was alike in most ways. "Revolver" was WOW!! It was modern, with the times and had different styles of music. I don't think there was a bad track. I played it endlessly when it came out. I loved the psychodelic slant. I don't remember the stereo separation so strongly on the album. Maybe mine was monaural.

  • <3

  • For me REVOLVER was the recording revolutionary concept that put The Beatles into a very interesting experimental path. Most of the people put an before and after with Sergeant Pepper. OK I respect the opinions, but REVOLVER was a 180 degrees change because The Beatles started to take underground risks to try to innovate.

  • @juanunderground the psychadelkics hid the new Paul defects

  • @slammah2012 WATS THAT ABOUT

  • easily in my top 5 george's song!

  • Revolver is probably my favourite Beatle's album :3

  • <3 Fucking amazing.

  • All you guys that are saying that Yoko ruined The Beatles: go learn more about the story of the band.

  • @Drakkonam

We did. She did and ruined John's life. Stop listening to the media.

  • @Drakkonam

Before you said something, I'm a Beatles fanatic.

  • i love the bum piano note xD

  • @allfreakedout799 Really! When abouts it that??

  • @77Smilee well, it sounds like a bum note but it is actually the e7th note

  • @allfreakedout799 Sorry, my ear isnt that good :S Do you know what time it happens in the song? Thanks :)

  • @77Smilee in the third line of every verse, it's easier to hear on record than on youtube but it's there :)

  • you are really stupid and you are so wrong.whos was a crap ,it was john lennon.the most extraordinary singers of the band were paul and george.he cant has a beautiful voice but the letters of the musis were perfect.of course you're tiny brain coundn't understand

  • @guilhermefranco06

I agree that Paul & George were great singers, especially Paul, but come on. John Lennon had one of rock's greatest voices. McCartney had one of the others.

  • @Rossonero072213

Wrong. John and Paul have the voice. People need to study the Beatles more. Why Paul and John are in the top 20 vocalist of all time in Rolling Stone?

  • @Dramactica

This is meant for guilhermefranco06 right? Cause I said the same thing you just did.

  • @Rossonero072213

Oh. sorry. this comment isn't for you. this comment is for guilhermaefranco06. George is very talented on the guitar( he rank 21st on Rolling Stone's best guitarist) and recording but not singing.

  • @Dramactica It’s too late at night and I can’t be bothered reading all the conversation that has taken place here, but sensibly you can’t accuse people of being influenced in opinion by "listening to the Media" and then try to substantiate your own opinions with information from the Top 20 list from the "Rolling Stone" magazine!

  • @123jsbach

First off, I wasn't talking to you. I wasn't talking to Rossonero either. Stay out of the conversation.

Second, what are you talking about the "media". These statements are from MUSIC CRITICS, HISTORIANS, AND MUSICIANS. The media is more of a popular opinions from the public like the users from Youtube and YOU. You need to know about the difference between facts and opinions.

  • @Dramactica Compiled information in a collection of papers/documents that are sold on newspaper stands is a magazine and is media. Anything that contains information for public domain is media. I don’t care if god almighty contributed to it. You need to stop being aggressive and defensive and lighten up darling. If you post on YouTube you will have people responding to it. If you don’t like it don’t post.

  • Those creepy eyes scared the shit out of me when I was a nipper.

  • why does this song finally mean so much after i took acid?

  • I've often found George's creations the best Beatle pieces - and why I love "Revolver" so much. His interest in Eastern music formed him unlike most composers. His singing diction is not the best; he slurs. But it is somehow perfect - somewhat jaded but going with the flow as he saw life. Great stuff forever.

  • what a riff!

    History at once

  • Yoko bashing is so unimaginative.

  • Ringo is my favorite Beatle, but George's songs are the best.

  • I was born around the time when CDs were starting to replace vinyl records. I was probably two years old when I first heard this album, one of the first I've ever listened to. It never gets old. I could listen to this all day. Revolver is the best album from one of the greatest bands in the world. If you disliked this, you seriously have problems.

  • Geoff Emerick said George didnt blossom as a songwriter until Abbey Road but Revolver proves otherwise

  • @GrisGrisOnUrDoorStep Actually Rubber Soul proves otherwise, when he wrote "If I needed someone."

  • @GrisGrisOnUrDoorStep Also look at George's If I Needed Someone from Rubber Soul; Taxman and this ditty from Revolver; Within You Without You, Only A Northern Song and It's All Too Much from '67; The Inner Light in '68 plus While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Savoy Truffle, Piggies and Long, Long, Long form White Albums.

  • @redletter2008 Dude I know lol I have every album

  • I love the bridge. "Sometimes I wish I knew you well, and I could speak my mind and tell you, maybe you'd understand." and "But if I seem to act unkind, it's only me it's not my mind, that is confusing things."

  • i love paul's little solo at the end... :)

  • Heh, must be nice to have John Lennon and Paul McCartney as your backing vocalists.

  • @joe44850 Must be nice to be a backup vocalist for George Harrison.

  • damn those piano chords on the last couple measures of the verses sound evil as all hell.

  • Classic, I mean what a classic...as is every song by the Beatles...every song....damn, they were and are that good,,,they will survive....as they are the "real deal"....and always will be....

  • linda cancion...George!!!

  • linda cancion...George!!!

  • I want to tell you that I miss you, George - RIP

  • aaahh, yes. the summer of 1966. sweet.

  • @decdetdes22 Indeed, I was two, man those were good times, kickin it in my diapers, free food and I got carried damn near everywhere I went. LOL!

  • genius george.

  • ... I'm using this.

  • ES LO BUENA DE LAS CANCIONES DE THE BEATLES...SIEMPRE SE AJUSTAN A LA VIDA DIARIA.....SOLO LOL MEJOR..IGUAL QUE THE BEATLES..ARRIBA!!!

  • me to!

  • Love this.

  • Have always loved this tune. Discovered it when I was 13 and in love with the most beautiful girl in my class. Until I read what George truly indicated with the lyrics, I took it be a description of me longing for that girl but unable to approach her.

  • @ecavuto Same thing with me bud ;)

  • @ecavuto What did he mean then? cause I thought the same thing...

  • @12irishbuckeye This was George's song to the fans. If you review the lyrics with those thousands of youngsters in mind, it adds a dimension to this song. Remember that George was considered the introvert Beatle? There was a lot going on in that stone-faced head of his, and this tune was his declaration of that.

  • The Beatles are coming back, but not as the cute mop tops we saw the first time. This time, we will see them for the prophets they really were and hear the spiritual and truth side of their music. It will change the world again. Go to TruthContest (dot) com and open The Present, then read the section about The Beatles. Pass this on to every Beatles fan you know.

  • The beatles are so badass they can play a bad note and are like" so what are song bitch."

  • @arker263 screw 'em

  • I don't want to tell the 3 people that disliked this... :/

  • I love the little wrong note that comes in on the piano. It's like they're saying "Yeah, we know it's wrong, so what?".

  • I've just totally had a crazy happiness-filled trip -- without the LSD -- in my attic!! Just been jamming and dancing crazily around to Beatle track after Beatle track! So much fun :D x

  • dislike ...that's why Keybord have no place in a rock band !

  • @Cyriaque1000 keyboards rlz

  • @Cyriaque1000 What? This is a Beatles track. They did whatever they wanted! Your opinion doesn't matter here.

  • I love the Beatles and I'm 18. Damn I wish George was alive.

  • @TheKhaiXiang What about John? Dick.

  • I miss George. :-(

  • On the Jimi Hendrix "BBC Sessions" CD, you can hear the Experience noodling with this song's opening riff, before launching into "Day Tripper." There's something very cool about Jim Hendrix honoring the Beatles.

  • @takfam07 He knew his place.

  • @MattNYfutbol *best album ever

  • Georges voice is like a drug

  • THE BEATLES, JUST THE BEST...

  • I'm in the mood for some Beatles! Fuck yea!

  • Today in math class, my teacher plays this song. And pretty much everyone except me said that this was too old, or to play something good, or something we recognize, or something from this generation. I sat and listened, happy of her choice to play this and not whatever it was the other people wanted her to play...and this is supposed to be the popular older band that EVERYONE likes. Effing sad. I now officially legitimately feel my generation sucks.

  • :D This picture is blown up and in a frame on the wall when you first enter our house its what you see. X)

  • Underrated song. This song is amazing! Its on my 25 most played on my iPod :) Love you Geroge!

  • all beatles are equally beatlsy amazing

  • 1 dislike? Who let Yoko Ono vote?

  • @380138013801 Two other people I don't know evidently.

  • @380138013801 AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • @380138013801

really, i think simply because of your comment there are now 5 dislikes.

  • @OropherThranduil

What, Yoko made another 4 accounts?

  • @380138013801 hahahahahaha xD xD

  • @380138013801 dude thats just wrong :/

  • @380138013801

Have you ever heard the song, ' The Ballad of John and Yoko'

    Listen to it.

    You will regret this comment.

  • @380138013801 In my opinion I think she ruined The Beatles

  • I only recently discovered Harrison as my favorite, which sucks because he's dead :(

  • harrison's songs on Revolver were better than Lennon's

  • @79goldmaster1 I don't think so, but Harrison was great. They both were-the whole band was

  • who's the one dumbass that disliked this song

  • The Beatles on drugs....Mmmm, a beautiful combination :)

  • 1 peolple doesn't want to listen me.

  • Can you even list a favorite Beatles album? I mean they're all miesterworks by talented maestros no need for a favorite! :)

  • eu sei toca o solo

  • that song reflects me in a strange way......

  • @illusorynightsong same here.

  • 1 clumsy person accidentally clicked dislike!

  • The Beatles are... beyond amazing in every way<3

  • My head is filled with things to Saaaaaaaaay

  • no wait aniolku25 cross that is it the who

  • ok is it black sabath

  • Eh, there was a band that topped the Stones and the Beatles put together in 1969 and, yes, they were English. I applaud them as a Scotsman. Any guesses who?

  • @aniolku25 is it pink floyd????

  • @iluvcookies198 Good guess but they were still in their experimenal phase in the 1960's. I adore them but records sales wasn't what they were all about at that time. Try again :)
