Blah.. I wish you could choose the soundtrack in the XBL version. I had a PC port of the game (later lost the disk..i was a kid gimme a break), and I loved every single track. Hearing different music every time I play this game just doesn't feel right..

Not bad, I will say. However, both of the songs don't hold much impact in the race against Metal...which is too bad. Though I guess that is why the Sega CD allowed for you to play your own music if you were creative enough.

The Japanese version is kinda cool, but the american version is so much cooler, and fits the frantic death race type vibe much better.

This actually sounds like your dashing to keep up with your evil robot clone while avoid a huge death laser right behind you, yet somehow this music also conveys how grim and desolate the bad future version of Stardust speedway is

Yeah, I've beat Sonic CD quite a few times. It all comes down to opinion really. Generations is out, and it includes the option to change the song for the level. Hopefully this song is one of the ones you can unlock.
