for me movies are great, i had a stroke some time ago and it has messed with my memory amongst other things, the point is i forget a film pretty much when its finished,so i can enjoy a good film again and again. theres always an up side!!!

High School Musical 3 - you ARE so silly! I didnt get a chance to see many movies this year because the birth of our first child - baby girl, Sawyer Dru - but we did manage to get to Dark Night... and I agree - not worth all the hype - it is not as good as Batman Begins, IMHO.

I liked "Marley and Me." Because I read the book, and the film was pretty true to it! We shall have to rent, "Get Smart." Yes, I have AVOIDED "the Dark Knight"--just seems so ominous...and, being Heath Ledgers' last role :(

I am not alone; I dont agree with you on your movie reviews but mostly its accurate. I thought that Get Smart was missing something....not great, not really good. The new Bond movie havent seen it but its the only on that is a sequel. The Dark Knight was ok, but could have been better. The other movie,...not my type the "Boleyn Girl". Its pronounced "Bowlin".

Slumdog has some torture, then a hate crime then some mistreatment of children and then some INCREDIBLY gross bathroom humor and then some corruption, some romance, a woman trapped by society, a gunfight, some How Wants To Be A Millionaire suspense and then a Bollywood dance number.

It toys with your heart pleasantly enough but doesn't exercise your head much.

I did demand a rain check and they said they would give them out at the end of the movie. At the end there was not a single employee to be found in the entire complex. I'm so stubborn that I came back the next day and demanded the rain check! They gave it to me : )

Slumdog Millionaire is good as long as you don't get your hopes up too high with all the hype.

It is NOT a deep movie. I sort of see Slumdog as actually being kind of like Forrest Gump in the sense that it manipulates your emotions in several different fairly conventional ways over the course of the movie.

Slumdogg is beauty, but it has some heavy material but it should win best picture besides dark knight. I will keep my dark knight tantrum to myself, and spair the youtube people.

Benjamin BORING! Most overrated movie of the year. Pitt didn't have a personality in that movie and had no flaws. Just a boring boring movie. Get smart was a lot better than people gave it credit for what a shame because I would have really liked a sequel. If you get a chance go see SLumdog Millionaire. It really is gonna take best picture. I'd recommend The Wrestler but I don't think that movie is for everyone.
