  • I play ukulele and I like the video but you have to remember that in islam music is not allowed. They even have a fatwa against music. I think it is nice that people want peace thru music but when it comes to islam it is not going to happen. Not all muslims want sharia law but they do not really have a choice about it. I wish you luck in what you are doing. Just don't get your hopes up to high..Uke on.

  • ukuleles are a tool of peace.

  • Is this project still running?

there doesn't seem to be any recent updates here or on the website.

  • yes it's still running

  • Great job friend!.. I love what you do.

  • Thanks for sharing, HoldinCoffee, this is a wonderful project.

  • You have a great thing going here. Keep it up!

  • hi, very good project.

what's the very first song called? sounds cool

    Best regards from Spain

  • The song with the 2 girls is a medley of Dr Jazz ,and All of me ,both old Jazz standards . They are also played on the UFP Cd which you can buy for a 20$ upwards donation .via the pay pal button on the Web site Thanks for your comments Paul.

  • Sorry thats just "All of me" in the opening clip of the 2 girls . Paul

  • Paul - thank you for such a fine effort on behalf of humanity. Certainly, music is a great doorway to peace, and I share your empathy for the children and loss of life from war. About 5 years ago I was invited to speak at a water gathering amongst religious leaders and scientists in the Middle East - and just like ululele's water too makes it own music in the interest of peace.

  • Thanks William water is indeed a precious resource here ..your comment gave me the idea to have the sound of water and ukuleles in my next recording! If you ever come over to Israel again Look me up. Paul.

  • Paul, this is agreat achievement and as droakroot says wonderful to see it rather than just read about it. Well done to you all.
