i rod this coaster 6 times in one day its great the front is the best on this coaster it feels like you are flying off the damn thing. you can almost touch the tops of the tunnels and yes it throws you like a rag doll and it makes it even more fun because of that.

@THEBROWNIEISBLUE well, it sounds like YOU like el toro better, and everybody's opinion is different. i personally like the voyage better and can't wait to ride it someday. i don't like to go comparing two random coasters because almost every coaster is made with different intentions. so, if you like smooth, intense rides, and don't bother the ride being shorter, you'd definitely go for el toro. if you like a long, airtime-y, twisting ride through the woods better, then the voyage wins.
@CoolioJoe100 well i do LOVE el toro but i think id love voyage 2 cuz i cud handle a rough coaster but i like el toro so much cuz 1. it has the best drop ive ever been on n 2. the airtime feels like u have 2 cling on for ur livfe...ESPECIALLY if u sit in the back...and 3. its feels faster than it is n th turns at the end r rele intense

i love how the ride is completly fun and that there are not much hills in this ride but three so when i got on i wasnt scared at all...well actually on the first hill but the rest was just turns and little hills
@HurzMurz They probably did so in order to allow a more smooth transition to the 90 degree banked turn that follow that. Since the turn is shallow enough, they can do so without it causing too many lateral G's.
i love this coaster so much. the only thing i didn't like was about half way up the first climb the train started rolling backward to give the other train time to get back to the station. and the bolts in the front hurt my knees a little. other than that. awesome ride. the first drop is awesome!
Simply an awesome ride. This is the third year in a row that The Voyage was awarded the Golden Ticket Award for Best Wooden Roller Coaster in the World and I absolutely agree. I just rode El Toro at Six Flags Great Adventure and it's a great ride, but it doesn't come close to what The Voayge is.

I recently went to Holiday World for the first time. Always loved steel over wood, but THE VOYAGE showed me just how awesome woodies can be !!! That is an awesome video, I wish I found it before I left, the view pointing at the riders gives a good warning on just how rough a ride it gives. While there we smoked ( as in burning smell and smoke coming from the coaster ) and was shut down both nights. But at least friend and I got 3 rides on it without having to get off and got last ride/day!
You ladies sure know how to have a good time. It takes guts to ride this coaster without screamimg at all. Well, I guess you both screamed one or two times.{smile} Thanks for posting this view of The Voyage with the different angles. You did a fine job with the camera work. I will make it out that way one of these days and will probably let out a few screams as well.
start with the raven its the smallest, and work your way up. look at all the people comming off the ride they didnt die so your going to be ok too. the point of a roller coaster is to scare you. have fun.

IMO, this is perhaps the best wooden coaster footage I have ever seen, and I have seen many of Robb Alvey's POVs, which are excellent.
Even if it doesnt stand up to T Express or Balder (idk), it looks flawless.
