Unfortunately Castlevania had a VERY clumsy jump to 3-D even though at the same time they released the best in the series Symphony of the Night. Still the NES, SNES, and Genesis titles are fantastic. That music is amazing.
Since we are doing these on the original hardware, we have been doing them as we get the systems. That's the only reason for the jumping around. The pre-crash consoles are not the easiest or cheapest to obtain. Especially for a minimal amount of enjoyment for some of them. - Ray
The console wars series as a whole starts at 1.01 Atari 2600. When we post the last videos in each console set we put a guide to the series at the end of the video. Hope that helps. - Ray
Yeah we just started doing this with no planning behind it, but the first set we actually did was Atari 2600. We haven't done them all completely by historical order, except for the first number in each version goes by which generation it is. -Ron
you two should really have a radio show, your voices are perfect for it, you have obviously known each other for awhile because the chemistry is perfect. Ray says something dorky to be funny, ron is oblivious to it and continues talking about the game. You guys got gold here, start cashing in!
Thanks, we've only been broadcasting since we started our podcasts in Summer 2007. I have no previous broadcasting experience, and Ray only has some from making home movies with friends. We've been friends for 5 years, and our discussions really started with us BSing at work and we've just extended that into something to present to others, so our flow is very natural and on the same wavelength. -Ron
the original castlevania is in my opinion, the best of the original 3.
