This band looks like a bunch of clean cut and loaded American college boys.
This is hard rock not 90210 - look at how the audience dresses, this is Thatchers' Britain of the mid 1980's. Hardly appropriate for bands to dress in fancy track suits is it - or are we in the world of corporate athletic rock?
No wonder bands like Lionheart vanished into oblivion. Wrong image and lousy timing.
Fucking hell, I nearly cried when i found this, I had this on Video back in 1985 and my mam taped over it. I thought i'd never see this again. I am greatly, greatly thankful to the guy who uploaded this. Absolutely amazing stuff. I can't thank you enough.
What a great find. Drumming legend Andy Beirne on the drums, formerly of Grand Prix, makes a total bals of things half way through the second song..the cameraman shows him shaking his head in disbelief at his mistake. Great drummer though and still doing the rounds in a Led Zep tribute band. The singer entered the Brit song for Europe after this , and Rocky Newton , and Steve Mann joined up with ex Grand Prix vocalsit Robin McAuley in MSG with some bloke called Schenker.
Hi, Thanks for the information. Which Zep tribulte band is he with? I've seen Whole Lotta Led and Fred Zeppelin but I don't thnk he was with either of them!! More rare footage from ECT will be posted here soon.
The album was recently released on cd. Great stuff!
Do a song called 'Heartbeat Radio' and it's sure to be a radio hit?! Wrong! :)

Can anybody tell me exactly how many guitars were being played in the second song?
Was it 4 or 6?

Is that Phil Lanzon on keys/third guitar?
Chad Brown sound pretty damn terrible here, especially in 'Heartbreak Radio'.
