The fact is, they made a big deal about Resistance 3 with the 3D TV; they did in fact advertised that a lot, just not the right way. Socom had its ads, and they hyped it so much that they even released the Sharp Shooter add-on just for that. The games just were not good enough. Resistance 1 was awesome; R 2 killed it for most fans, so R 3 failed for that.

it is using a BD technology. it's a "modified" single layer BD disc is 25gb. THe reason Wii-U won't do BD playback is because of BD movie licensing. their BD player is only reading DATA, but hacker will softmod it like they did the wii to have movie playback as well as BD playback hopefully.
@shitflopgaymershow Technically it is using BD, but since it's not being used for movies and it's not using any of Sony's or any other company's tech, as well as not having a BD license to make their own BD tech, then it is not BD. DC's comment, as far as I understand it, is directed towards how popular it is. Digital movies is what people prefer now, so BD is not a big deal anymore. The Vita is also using game carts that go up to 8GB like the 3DS, but they're not necessarily the same.
The wii itself at the begining of this gen was only really worth about a $40 pc. But hey my old ass desktop with 06-07 parts can emulate all your wii games & b in 720p. & still play most of the newest games.

Its not stealing its copying in which you are allowed a backup copy just as you are with music cd's dvd's & pc games as long as you own it. xbox 1 cameout in last gen so no surprize but it is a surprize that the cpu & gpu in the wii is from 1999.

1.The only reason why the PS3 fanbase went down was because of the $600.FACT because as much as I wanted a PS3 I wasn't going to pay $600.
I waited till it dropped to $300.
2.I don't think anyone's made since PS3 is the closest console to a PC LOL.
Not to mention PS3 is the only console that can go up to 1 Terabyte HDD.

@Darkcloud1983 The whole point of HD collections is for people who HAVEN'T played the pre installments to the series and who DIDN'T have a PS2 to play them.Not to mention trophy whores like me love playing nostalgic old games especially if they have trophys.

That's impressive, that is, if you count the sales it got from two bundles I think. And to use one example to try and defend a system that has "more superior" games is really funny. Uncharted 2 hasn't even cracked the 5M mark and UC3's sales are doing worse than UC2's, and that's with a bundle.

1.What I meant by Gran Turismo 5 selling over 11m already was Gran Turismo 5 prologue.I consider them both the same game except GT5 Prologue is a demo and Gran Turismo 5 is the real deal with everything updated and polished.

Also, isn't Dance Central a Ubisoft game? MS did some add for Kinnect last year, but that is wearing down. Are you not aware of Kevin Butler? He's the comedian hired to advertise Sony games, and most of his ads have been on TV and on youtube. I bet you don't even know why Uncharted 3 had a big opening in Japan.

@ShawShank503 Whether or not a game is advertised is entirely up to the publisher. Your comment would be valid if it hadn't supported at all. The fact is, they made a big deal about Resistance 3 with the 3D TV; they did in fact advertised that a lot, just not the right way. Socom had its ads, and they hyped it so much that they even released the Sharp Shooter add-on just for that. The games just were not good enough. Resistance 1 was awesome; R 2 killed it for most fans, so R 3 failed for that.

And the hd collections dont even look that much better than the ps2 collection. If they did hd collection and redid the graphics of ps1 games I would care. I don't have nostalgia for ps2 games. it is using a BD technology. it's a "modified" single layer BD disc is 25gb. THe reason Wii-U won't do BD playback is because of BD movie licensing. their BD player is only reading DATA, but hacker will softmod it like they did the wii to have movie playback as well as BD playback hopefully.

@shitflopgaymershow Technically it is using BD, but since it's not being used for movies and it's not using any of Sony's or any other company's tech, as well as not having a BD license to make their own BD tech, then it is not BD. DC's comment, as far as I understand it, is directed towards how popular it is. Digital movies is what people prefer now, so BD is not a big deal anymore. The Vita is also using game carts that go up to 8GB like the 3DS, but they're not necessarily the same.

@Darkcloud1983 no shit for brains its cpu is from 1999 and over clocked to 700mhz. at any rate you can download or backup the games with a special drive as long as you own the game already and its legal. Its not stealing its copying in which you are allowed a backup copy just as you are with music cd's dvd's & pc games as long as you own it. xbox 1 cameout in last gen so no surprize but it is a surprize that the cpu & gpu in the wii is from 1999.

2) Not everyone can afford every game that is dropping, I am 30 I got bills to pay such as car loans,rent,food,gas for said car to go to work,electricity,phone. I am lucky I can buy a new game every 3 months.
3) I am a Sony fan, Nintendo screwed me over way too many times now.The Wii was a disappointment, even the first party stuff wasn't great.
