How did they get away with this while Liberace was still alive? I mean the beefcake whipping thing alone would have been enough to get his AstroGlide boiling!
Elton kicking the ball into Liberace's head, Orson taking the turkey with him as he walks off the set...hilarious. SCTV: funniest skit comedy show ever, period.
Dale: in case you didn't get my reply re: "request for upload", here it is. You said, "my my my....you have WAAAAY too much time on your hands.lol". If I do, it's precisely what allows me to upload all my videos, which folks like you can then sit on your fat, lazy asses and enjoy. Seems odd - or just blatantly ballsy and ungracious - to then accuse me of having too much time on my hands, while you enjoy the fruits of what you call "too much time"!
And Dale: you yourself found the time to respond to my "no requests" note. I'm retired; what's your excuse? I sense a little sour grapes on your part and your puny attempt to "get even" with me. Yes, no, maybe? Poor little thing. You have my deepest sympathies!
You've already made my holiday season with this, and all the other X-mas/Chanukah posts.(and it hasn't really even started yet!!) I feel very warm and fuzzy right now:) "I feel very DEEP, CRISP, and CRUCHY...I'm sorry did I say crunchy? I'm sorry Franny...He was moving!;-)" LOL Soooo funny! Thank you. xo
"Deep and crisp and crunchy!!!! He was moving...." - Haaahhaaaha!!! Oh Lord. Doug: I know that Y.T. is having problems posting comments these days, but I've saved all your old ones as I've deleted my old videos and re-posted them. So, again, if you'd like to repost them........ Take care.
gawd, I love SCTV

these two guys were just the best -- Dave Thomas also did a great Bob Hope -- nothing beats Dave and Rick as the Mackenzie brothers though.

You know your trouble if Liberace was the voice of reason

How anyone could EVER think that Ethal Merman was a singer is beyond me. She deserved to me mocked.

very funny, and some great impersonations by some folks we all know well today, as well as one we miss.

Why was G. Gordon Liddy whipping Liberace?
esahadi 2 years ago
@esahadi: It wasn't G. Gordon Libby whipping him-but a big gay guy into S&M/leather.

the pianist who did this certainly captured elton john's clumsy piano playing perfectly!

Dave Thomas was great as Liberace! Do you know if they ever broadcasted any other skits featuring Liberace?

Great skit. Brilliant actors. Dave Thomas, Rick Moranis and especially John Candy as Orson Wells are perfect.
