Ive read the book. i think sadako died when hiroshima was nuked by america and she had some kind of disease. im not quite sure what it was called... i think that she only made between 600 and 700 paper cranes..

Sadako was my favorite story when i was in chuu gako. The peace memorial is a great place, but is also verry sad
